Sidhe, the New Zealand-based development studio that brought us Gripshift for the [shal]PlayStation Network[/shal], has been hard at work on their newest arcade title, Shatter. Though [shal]Shatter[/shal] immediately looks familiar to classic games like Breakout, a closer inspection reveals just how different and innovative it really is.
Not only is the player’s field of movement much greater, the shapes of the environments (and player boundaries) shifts from stage to stage. And in addition to this, there’s a big emphasis on manipulating physics interactions to raise your score. Check out the gameplay trailer, and let us know what you think!
