Uncharted 2 Swings into Retail this September
According to a leaked internal Sony release schedule, Uncharted 2 may be coming to the PS3 earlier than originally expected. Leaked Sony documents have revealed some tantalizing info, unfortunately its purely a rumor at this point.
The document lists Uncharted 2: Among Thieves as a September 30th release. Up til now, the only timetable Sony or Naughty Dog gave was a Fall ’09 release. Many speculated it would follow in the footsteps of it’s predecessor, and release in November.
Additionally, the document lists Ratchet & Clank: A Crack in Time as an October 28th release, and EyePet as a November 4th entry.
Resistance 2, inFamous, Killzone 2 and Motorstorm : Pacific Rift are all part of the next batch of games designated for the Greatest Hits program. Motostorm and Resistance 2 are set for a September 9th release, and Killzone 2 and inFamous are slated for a November 4th release.

Holy crap – inFamous is becoming a Greatest Hit? How about the first Uncharted? Hopefully that is a partial list… We’ve mused that maybe it hasn’t been one because of bundles, but looking at that list the bundle thing isn’t an issue…
As far as I know the Gamestop Multiplyer Demo for pre-ordering ends on sept 28th, I have guessed all along that it will probably be released not to long after that ends so I hope this is true cause I am dieing to play this

This will be smart then… to release the game before COD. This game deserve to be the best first party best seller of the console.
inFAMOUS already a Greatest Hit? that’s pretty crazy considering how long it took for the first batch of Greatest Hits to hit shelves. I like all the other release date info though.
that’s a little fast for inFamous and Killzone 2 Greatest Hits, but I think they’ve sold enough copies to be considered. Especially with a date around Black Friday, Sony is going to be pushing PS3 Hard this holiday season. I think if you list was true though, Uncharted would be listed as a Greatest Hit (it’s still ilke $35-40 used at Gamestop).
I’m expecting Uncharted to come free with Uncharted 2 at most retailers on Black Friday.

Oh how easy the gullible are to fool…unless Naughty Dawg releases a date then it has not happened…
They still have the Exclusive Demo for Gamestop pre-order from Aug 18 – Sept 18 to play and then you have Tokyo Game Show Sept 24th-27th, Games Con in Germany in Aug. in about a month so there is time yet for Naughty Dawg to skewer your hopes and set the release date into Nov 27th for the Holiday shopping season…
this should help sony put up some big numbers this season.
I just hope they advertise these deals so average people know.
well i hope this rumor is true.
i think naughty dog is already polishing the game. from what i’ve read (can’t remember on what website) ND is testing the single player’s difficulty so i guess single player is already finish. the beta of multiplayer is very sweet but still have bugs. i think they squashed most of the bugs by now.
C’mon ND and sony release it at september can’t freakin wait.
