Pre-Order Marvel Ultimate Alliance 2 and Get the Juggernaut

Gamestop always seems to get the pre-order goodies these days. This time, the game is Marvel Ultimate Alliance 2, and the goody is playable character Juggernaut. Below you can check out a cool 3D preview of the character you can get if you pre-order.
This pre-order item will be available only for the PlayStation 3 and Xbox 360 versions of the game. Wii and PlayStation 2 owners are outta luck. Take a look at the 3D screen below. Is it worth the pre-order?

They should give you 2 characters…since he can be unlocked.
i dont really care for these pre-order characters.. i think its actually pretty lame considering pre-ordering from gamestop is such a waste and a pain.
whats the advantage of being Juggernaut, outside of it being cool?
and if he’s unlockable, how is that special. getting Jugg faster isn’t that special

I hate HATE hate these pre-order bonuses that you can eventually unlock in the game. Why am I pre-ordering from you if I’m going to get the bonus anyway?? Especially from GameStop when they have higher prices then places like Amazon, not to mention I hate them for the way they rip you off with used games. For any GameStop employees reading, “YOU DON’T DESERVE TO MAKE A $20-$30 PROFIT ON A USED GAME THAT YOU PROBABLY SOLD NEW!!”

agreed, the biggest problem is that there pre-order ‘bonus” can be unlocked. Theres nothing original in that concept. Does gamestop pay for these codes? to push for sales? companies need to stop helping gamestop and let there ship sink.
I’m against Gamestop. So I agree with giese095. These pre-order bonuses that are exclusive are stupid. Make them available to all retail spots, I say. These publishers are sleppin wit da devil!

Gamestop most likely pays the publishers, but consumers eat up these pre-order deals so they get their initial investment back and then some. If people stopped buying pre-orders I bet you’d see far less of these so-called “deals.”
And the people doing those pre-orders are dumb people that don’t exactly know what they’re doing.. I’m gonna start buying from Best-Buy and Amazon.
I usually prefer target first then bestbuy then gamestop (i would like to try amazon.com sometime). Target and bestbuy has alot of good deals and sales and clearance. Unlike Gamestop, the only sale they would give you are mostly in used games in which i stopped purchasing for my ps3. $2 – $5 difference between used and new is just too low. Why would i buy a used scratched game disc when i could buy an untouched one for a couple of bucks more (more often less if i dont buy at gamestop).
oh and I just picked up Motorstorm: Pacific Rift for $30 clearance at target this week. Check target if you guys have been wanting this game.
Seriously: if you want to buy used, PLEASE buy from Amazon, or eBay, or Half.com or a trade site, NOT gamestop. Not only will you be saving even MORE money and not subjecting yourself to a blatant rip off, but it’s only less dollar that Gamestop will see. They’re knowingly HURTING the business they sell. How greedy.
