The legendary Konami arcade title, Frogger, made a huge splash when it was released in 1981. And in the vein of other classic titles that have seen re-releases on current-gen systems, it looks like Frogger will be hopping its way towards a release for the PS3 via PlayStation Network.
Yesterday, the ESRB posted a new listing for “Frogger Returns”, which you can view below.

So it’s safe to say you’re not interested in “TMNT: Turtles in Time Re-shelled” also coming to PSN?

@ SteelFox
TheHater and Nickrel are my favorite posters.. at one point everyone thought TheHater was just “hatin” when in reality he was being honest. retro gaming is not my preference and ive stated that since being on the PSL.Thehater is a cool guy.
@StalkingSilence
Yep, im not a retro gamer.. You KNOW better than anyone on here. ha ha

I don’t even believe in labeling something as “retro gaming.” A game is a game. I have no personal interest in Frogger, never did, but I’m definitely getting the Turtles remake. Super Stardust has shades of old school arcades. Zombie Apocalypse has a very old school feel to it. Even a “new” game like Castle Crashers is obviously akin to an old arcade beat ‘em up. A fun game is always going to be fun.

@KwietStorm
Retro is a term used to describe or classify culturally outdated or aged trends, modes, or fashions, from the past. “Retro” can be used to simply mean “old fashioned” or old, functioning much like “timeless” or “classic”. Maybe i should have said “old school gamer” which essentially means the same.
A game is a game correct but ive never been the type to play outdated games. im not interested in MvsC because its not a full remake (visually) perfect port but its nothing new. fighting games are my preferred types of games but id rather have something like Tekken 6, blazblue and king of the fighters VII there more up to modern specs… retro gaming is also in online encyclopedias and a few modern college dictionaries.
i was 5 years old when Turtles in time was released in 1992 and btw

I didn’t need the definition. I’m just saying how I feel. I wasn’t directing my previous comment at you.

@kweitStorm
its cool. last time i stated how i felt against fallout , you were under the impression it was wrong of me to blackball a company for not supporting Sony. i was the original person who said retro. no offence taken or meant.
