Level 5′s White Knight Chronicles still hasn’t been released here in North America, and already revealed are plans for a sequel. According to the latest Famitsu magazine, White Knight Chronicles 2 is in development. The Famitsu translation, reveals some interesting facts about the game.

The translation reads:
in WKC I, your avatar only tagged along, but in WKC II, the avatar is planned to be treated differently

Looks like the first game did well enough in Japan to warrant a sequel. Good for them. I look forward to the WKC North American release.
Thank you Level 5….Sony, can you buy the company already?? Make Level 5 to become your Naughty Dog of RPGs
終わらない物語だよ〜!!!
so… if it turns out White Knight works with 白何とか物語 (White Knight Japan), I’ll import White Knight 2 (what I mean is there was word that Japan and US would use the same servers allowing US and Japan to play together, if that’s the case it should be the same with the sequel, allowing me to play my japanese copy with my friends with the US copy)
The good news for this is that, White Knight was confirmed for the US on it’s Japan release, with the franchise possibly confirmed for the US, they’ll work on the US version of 2 before the Japanese version is released (this time)
I really want White Knight Chronicles.
