Amazon Slims their PS3 Listing

Amazon.de has posted a listing for the highly publicized, yet never fully announced, PS3 Slim. There is no price point, and very little decipherable information. However, a listing does show that Sony may be in open communication to retailers about the newest PS3 iteration.
This year’s E3 convention came and went, with no PS3 Slim announcement. However, with Sony’s GamesCom press conference scheduled for 3 hours, one must wonder if this will be the stage for the official announcement.

yea i think it’s definitely coming. also someone claimed that they got pic of ps3 slim and it got took down

Dre, thats looks exactly the same as the one in the article pic, if its real it kinda sucks that they just slimmed it, but didnt make it smaller. But whatev, it looks nice.

well I like how the Slim looks like in the picture. Doesn’t look as ugly as the other pics made it out to be

i was hoping it would be the other pic… that one is butt ugly. i dont care about the pic we ve seen a bunch of pics and although that one looks better …. its still ugly to me.

I hope you can stand the new slim on it’s side. I have mine standing and it’s perfect that way. Looks like they got rid of the silver trim too. I’ll miss that.

@ FiftyQuid – I doubt that you’ll be able to stand it on it’s side without some sort of stand attachment with how slim it looks. Also, is anyone who already has a PS3 actually planning on buying a slim to replace their old one?? and if so why?? I guess I just don’t see what the benefit of a slimmer model is other than taking up less space, but I can’t see anyone not having enough space for the original.

I guess everything was leaked before E3, so if they’re going to announce this at whatever event is taking place today, it’s par for the course that it be leaked early. Won’t be buying one myself – after spending $400 for the one I’ve got, I’ve finally gotten to the point where I can actually start buying some games for it!

who gives a crap about how it looks, that’s very feminine of people worrying over appearances of a console. What everyone should be talking about is the extra HD memory seize, features, and tech they added to the slim

No way will I upgrade. No offense Sony. I’m perfectly happy with my PS3 now. I upgraded the HD to a 500 gig and I’m not really worried as long as it works with the pspGO. Otherwise my games, movies, and music work just fine the way they are now, and why change when the one I have now isn’t broken. Granted…if it decides to blow up or something I’ll consider it.
