
When Tecmo brought out the big guns for E3 2009, we never thought it would come to this: On a marketing ad for the PlayStation 3 exclusive, Ninja Gaiden Sigma 2, a street wall advertisement contains a real representation of said “big guns”.
As shown in the video above, the advert is designed to simulate what looks like a woman hanging onto the edge behind the wall with her “guns” hanging out. At the bottom are the logos for Tecmo and Ninja Gaiden Sigma 2, reminding us that it’s all in good promotion. Still, it brings up the question of why Japanese adverts are so strange. Should US advertising take a page from Japan’s book?
Ninja Gaiden Sigma 2 will hit store shelves on September 29, 2009.

Lol! You bring up an excellent point. I personally don’t think it’s controversial (its not like the women walking by didn’t have any…) but I never thought to realize that activists would stir up controversy out of nothing.
