Correct -and the Buzz Quiz World game is trying to make 8 players actually fun. Probably figuring some will buy the new game+buzzers and have their Buzz Quiz TV buzzers as well. In fact, the reason the Buzzers are USB dongled as opposed to bluetooth is that bluetooth only allows 7 connections, and they wanted all their games to support 8.

Yes BQTV is 8-player. I’ve done it. Some round types are disabled for more than 4 players though such as pie fight and pass the bomb. A specific 8-player stage is used. It’s just like the 4-player one only there are more podiums which are slightly closer together and obviously it’s a wider camera angle.

All you have to do is look at the back of the box. For Buzz! Quiz TV you could have 1-8 players (online 1-4).

I have even conducted a google image search and I cannot find even a single screenshot with 8 contestants (on a PS3 version of the game).

Prolo, I did not know that. I currently have the first game. Does that mean that there are 8 different contestants or are there still 4 contestants with paired teams? I only ask because it looks like there isn’t enough space on the stage for 8 contestants.

You could always have 8, you just needed another set of wireless buzzers and the usb adapter.

you still have to buy disk if you want certain songs not in the singstore..Queen’s is the only version thats being released in the US early. in the AU/UK singstore they have them in singles but not every disk based song. Volume 1 US and UK have different songs on each disk.

“earn new trophies” on the PSP version – ah yes, still doesn’t mean PSP XMB trophies, but hopefully sony will have figured out the security/memory issues by then so that they can really do these properly and not just in-game trophies like Buzz! Master Quiz.

I wish this was available as DLC. These are things that current players want. I hope I can just download the game.

It better be able to use MyBuzzQuiz questions we already wrote and really should just add a few new trophies. This should work like SingStar and not require you to buy all the new discs, the older versions just get patched up and you pay for downloadable content.

And all with mostly the same repetitive trophies as the last game… Good thing I got most of those by trying to figure out how get my DLC working by deleting and redownloading the patch and DLC until I figured out that I was looking in the wrong categories O_o…

What ever, I’ll have plenty of time to make up with that grinding up Buzz Quiz World all over again. I hope they have a buzzerless version. I don’t have 7 friends and family members T_T
