Batman: Arkham Asylum Trophies Revealed

The trophy list for Batman: Arkham Asylum, the upcoming Batman title from Square Enix and Eidos, has finally been revealed. The game contains 48 trophies, 16 of which are hidden.
Batman’s trip into the Arkham Asylum hits North American shelves August 25th. So make sure stay tuned for the impending PSLS review of the Dark Knight’s latest adventure. Here are the specified trophies for the game.
Bronze
- Party Pooper
KO all the henchmen celebrating your arrival at the party - Night Glider
Glide continuously for over 100m - Rope-a-dope-a-dope
String up one henchman and drop him to surprise a second (any play mode) - Catch!
Catch a Baterang (any play mode) - Freeflow Combo 5
Complete a combo of 5 moves (any play mode) - Freeflow Combo 10
Complete a combo of 10 moves (any play mode) - Freakshow Rodeo
Ride Titan henchman a knock down 10 thugs (any play mode) - Freeflow Bronze
Achieve 8 medals on combat challenges - Freeflow Silver
Achieve 16 medals on combat challenges - Predator Bronze
Achieve 8 medals on predator challenges - Predator Silver
Achieve 16 medals on predator challenges - Predator Gold
Achieve 24 medals on predator challenges - Invisible Predator
Complete one predator challenge by using only Silent Takedowns - Flawless Freeflow Fighter
Complete one combat challenge without taking damage - Arkham Analyst
Solve 5% of riddler challenges - Cryptic Investigator
Solve 10% of riddler challenges - Lateral Thinker
Solve 25% of riddler challenges - Mystery Solver
Solve 40% of riddler challenges - Conundrum Cracker
Solve 55% of riddler challenges - Mental Athlete

Why is there a gold trophy for 100% completion? That is the purpose of the platinum trophy.
Maybe it doesn’t have enough regular trophies to rate a platinum? That would be my guess, but yeah why a gold for 100% complete?

I always play my games on Hard mode going back and playing easy and normal is a waste of time. the trophy’s seam easy and whats up with the gold instead of platinum?

You should not have to go through normal or easy again though. Usually the game awards you the easy, normal, and hard trophies at the same time if you go through hard first. I know Uncharted did, and I believe BioShock does as well.

It has 48 trophies though. That is like 4 times as many as Terminator: Salvation.
I believe Fallout 3 has the same gold trophy for collecting all other Fallout trophies. I know one of my games has this kind of trophy, I will have to check to see which one.
wierd stuff on the last trophy but very cool anyway
only 32 of the trophies have been revealed, so maybe one of the 16 hidden trophies is a platinum. ya never know. that would be cool and weird. never thought i’d buy a BATMAN game but after playing the demo through a few times i believe this game warrants a purchase at some point.

I am positive one of the secret trophies is indeed a platinum. That being said however, since it is inevitable for it to have a platinum, why include a gold for the same purpose?
The gold one is weird
100% completion trophy, if this is referring to what a Platinum Trophy should be, then we have entered a video game conundrum.
Multi Platform games do not know what to do about a Platinum Trophy.
Street Fighter 4 answered this by awarding Xbox360 gamers with a 100% completion achievement with 0 points (it was PS3′s Platinum Trophy)
I guess now to add more merit for the Xbox360 gamers, Eidos has issued a 100% Achievement with value and thus having to translate it over to PS3 as a Trophy. it’s totally back-assward or whatever term people use. (but I guess now we can see what came first the Achievement or the Trophy, for each game)

The Platinum is a HIDDEN TROPHY.
ok to clear up this confusion
the gold 100% complete trophy means 100% of the game
the platinum trophy means all the trophies
you can get all the secrets and beat the game and get the gold trophy without getting a trophy like… Catch! where you catch a baterang. and obviously you have to get the 100% complete trophy to get the platinum..
and the platinum isnt listed because its a hidden trophy and the only trophies listed are the specified ones.
Guys it’s not that hard to understand.
A platinum trophy is for obtaining all the other trophies in the game.
The gold trophy is for doing all other tasks, finding all the secrets, and doing everything in the game.
They can NOT give any requirement to a platinum trophy other than “Get all other trophies” therefor they wanted you to fully complete every aspect of the game in order to get a platinum.
Furthermore if you do everything in the game and 100 percent it you’re not guarenteed to get the platinum. You also have to get the different difficulty trophies. You have to accomplish everything that was put into this game in order to platinum it.
Quit making it more difficult than it sounds. JEEZ PEOPLE!
Loved the demo, gonna have to make time to get this game.

I’m guessing that the “100% completion” trophy is refering you to get all gold medals in the predator challenges and combat challenges, collecting all riddler trophies and finish the game on all diffuculties. I believe the platinum is one of the hidden trophies.
Guys I don’t know why they do the 100% gold trophy but I do know that 1 of the 16 secret trophies is the Platinum (some other games do this also) and the other 15 are trophies you get as you progress through story mode. I guess they did the 100% gold because that was the only way they could fit in a gold trophy… But it is for sure that the last of the secret trophies is in fact a Platinum.
