Marvel Vs. Capcom 2 is finally releasing this Thursday on the PlayStation Store.  However, that’s not the only store you’ll be able to purchase it at.

Back in early June, there were rumors of a retail version of Marvel Vs. Capcom 2, when a GameStop listing was spotted.  The listing was quickly removed, but claimed that along with the game download voucher, you got some free goodies, such as:

  • DVD filled with artwork
  • 8 page manual with moves list
  • one-month subscription to Marvel Digital Comics
  • 2000 Capcom Unity points

Now this image has surfaced, showing the actual retail box.  The box also reveals that the free one-month subscription to Marvel Digital Comics is included.  So there is a ‘fighting’ chance that we’ll get the other aforementioned goodies as well.

No word as to when this retail bundle is getting released, but it might be the better value considering the retail version, and the PS Store download will be priced the same.
