Marvel Vs. Capcom 2 is finally releasing this Thursday on the PlayStation Store. However, that’s not the only store you’ll be able to purchase it at.
Back in early June, there were rumors of a retail version of Marvel Vs. Capcom 2, when a GameStop listing was spotted. The listing was quickly removed, but claimed that along with the game download voucher, you got some free goodies, such as:
Now this image has surfaced, showing the actual retail box. The box also reveals that the free one-month subscription to Marvel Digital Comics is included. So there is a ‘fighting’ chance that we’ll get the other aforementioned goodies as well.

No word as to when this retail bundle is getting released, but it might be the better value considering the retail version, and the PS Store download will be priced the same.

you can in YesAsia or play Asia even the UK.
I’ll wait for the details on the extras before buying…
I thought the PSN Store version of MVC2 was going to be priced at $14.99 and the retail version of MVC2 was going to be priced at $19.99?
What do you think the retail package will run?
