US PlayStation PSN Portable ID Update Live; Compare Trophies Included

Just the other day, Eric Lempel announced that the PSN portable ID would be receiving an update, which now displays your trophies. Giving you official PlayStation trophy cards for you to post on forums, social networking sites, and more.

The update to us.playstation.com is now live. Along with the updated PSN Portable ID’s, there is also now a section under “my profile” for “trophies” where you can not only see your own profile, but you can compare your trophies with up to 5 PSN friends at once.

Head on over to us.playstation.com and get your updated portable ID now.

    You can also view trophies you don’t have. Just type in anyone’s PSN userid and click their name. Even if you don’t have the Platinum for inFamous, or whatever you can see what it looks like now. Pretty sure this goes for hidden trophies too. I wonder if Sony will correct that?

    Yeah I use the EU version since it is a lot more colorful. If they just ported that one over it would have been better that way I could have the American Flag in the thing but until they do that, Long Live the Queen…. LoL

    I definitely prefer the EU trophy cards, but I am happy to see progress being made.

    I like these ids it keeps it simple, I think it updates without having to go to the website (could be wrong) it makes things simple for those who are too lazy to mess with getting it working on EU site, but it also shows our avatars so it focuses in on what our playstation profile is. I would like a few customizeability options, but it’s good enough that I don’t need to go back to the EU site once they provide the BB Code option and a stripped down Portable ID
