Dead Nation Ready to Infect PSN

08/18/2009 Written by Connor Sky

From Housemarque, the famed developers behind Super Stardust HD, comes an intense, gruesome PSN exclusive, Dead Nation.

The basic plot behind Dead Nation is that a virus has broken out turning the infected into terrifying zombies. Your mission is to destroy the zombie masses and make it out alive.

Dead Nation will support both online and offline co-op, as well as ranks via leaderboards. Also, players can track their zombie kills with the daily online world map, and reduce the zombie virus with the help of other Dead Nation players within the country you’re playing.

whatever happened to Zombie Apocalypse. that was my first thought when watching this footage. looks really good though.

  2. SolidCake_ Says:

I hope there’s more to this game than what was shown in the trailer, looks really boring imho.

  3. Adam Wolfe Says:

Definitely looks like Zombie Apocalypse and Burn Zombie Burn. It does have online co-op which is nice, but hopefully there is more to it then the trailer shows for sure.

  4. Jonathan Leack Says:

I’m impressed to say the least.

This could be my favorite PSN game to date. With the makers of SSHD behind it we know it will deliver. Reminds me of The Hunter: The Reckoning back on the old Xbox and PS2.

  6. ZemaOner Says:

I like the layout of the game. Better than Burn Zombie Burn. Better name too. Burn Zombie Burn…geez! That’s almost as bad as Shooter!

  7. KwietStorm Says:

Great, it looks just like Zombie Apocalypse, but for some reason, it seems like it has more personality, if I can even make that assumption. I may get this instead and support the exclusive from the smaller studio.

  8. bond2e2 Says:

if it was first person maybe i would get it. but it doesn’t look that great, nothing new

  9. StalkingSilence Says:

The lighting looks really good – especially from the muzzle flashes. However, this whole zombie genre is pretty tired.

I may check this game out.
