Straight from the GamesCom press conference, Sony has announced some great new additions coming to PlayStation Home. You’ll love these new spaces, whether you like to sing your heart out, or have a passion for automobiles.
The SingStar space, which was known for quite some time, has finally been shown off. The space will feature “a music quiz, a video jukeboz, an interactive dance floor, and more to come.”
In a surprise reveal, Sony announced that Audi will making it’s presence known in the PlayStation Home world, with a new space coming before year’s end. And finally, a new update will be coming this September. It will include a new shrinking potion (speaks for itself) and more.
Make sure to stick with PlayStation LifeStyle for all your GamesCom updates!
sweet good new. lets hope it gets even better
Nice. I don’t mess with home too much but cars will be a nice addition.
Whats audi?
@ tiger7758
audi is a car maker
Like GM, Ford, Dodge, Etc…….
oh ok…thanks
Wow he really asked what’s Audi. Anyway, I guess it’s time for me to accept Home for what it is. All these spaces and content keep getting added, along with this silly stuff like shrinking potion, but Home has really been lacking in community and gamer features, especially stuff that we, the people, have asked for. But of course, they only add what they see fit.
@tiger
if im not mistaken a car manufacturer
I would love it more if they add more bowling lanes, pool table, poker tables, etc.
@kirobz:
Yes. More lanes and tables. I never get to play pool or go bowling anymore.
Hopefully it’s NA as well as EU updates they mentioned.
Audi? What the?
The Audi space will probably tie in with an awesome GT5 space in the future!
@Kwiet Storm
Well Home is a place wehre a lot of people go to make friends, I spend a decent amount of time trying to earn new items for my home character, and there are some mini games there. I hope some of the mini games get patched up a bit as the racing one is a bit too stiff in EA complex and the DJ stuff should be a bit more minigamish.
There’s some interesting stuff but game launching is the most important thing that needs to be supported.
