And the PS3 Slim news keeps on flooding in! This time, the packshot for the slender behemoth has been revealed! Presumably, this is the huge advertisement that greeted journalists vacating from the conference that stated “Watch this space.”

Well that box looks very familiar……didn’t we see it here first months ago?

PSLS you guys are pretty good at getting things out first. You did a good job this time too.
@Robotron: we all knew it was the real thing.
PSLS for all the LATEST and GROUNDBREAKING news.
so tell me if we can upgrade the HDD, no one has announced that (even people who have unboxed one)
anyway for people who think this wont help Sony take over the market.
1) $299 Blu-ray player (the cheapest is like $200)
2) $50 difference from Wii
3) a new design (look at the DSi or 3G-S, both 0.5 updates that sold well)
4) price drop people were waiting for.
even the price drop alone would have helped them take the market, but price drop and new design, that’s a winning strategy.
The cheapest I’ve seen was $249. Regardless, I’m so glad this day has finally come. Now the rumors can die, PS3 can rise again, and I can sit back with my popcorn while reading comments from all the people who said the slim wasn’t real, or that it would be MORE expensive, or that all the blatant evidence up til now was just some cheap Chinese knock-off. What a great day.
Oh, and yes, you can still remove the hard drive. It’s at the front now, on the right side.
