Worldwide PlayStation Family Figures Announced

Andrew House, head of SCEE, has announced some awesome sales figures for the three members of the PlayStation family. According to House, the PS2 has sold 138 million consoles worldwide. As for the PSP, 52.9 million, worldwide. Finally, for Sony’s behemoth, the PS3, it has sold a solid 23.7 million consoles, worldwide.

House went on to reveal numbers for the PlayStation Network. Since launch, 27 million PSN accounts have been created. And those users have created 560 million downloads. Finally, for HOME, a resounding 7.5 million users have interacted within Sony’s digital arena.
