  1. I’m most definitely interested in playing this game some more.

  2. Twoje says:

So, public beta. Does that mean ANYONE can join? Or is there some fine print?

  3. John Smith says:

I really enjoy this game. Monday was fun, but last night was great because I got into a squad that actually behaved like a squad. I knew I was in for a good match when our squad leader said “Good evening ladies and gentlemen, my name is ______ and I will be your squad leader tonight.” during the pre-game lobby.

  4. I would suggest trying to get into this beta when you can. This game will knock every doubters stupid grin right off their face. I got into the closed beta and this game will exceed your expectations gauranteed or else you are a liar.

  5. i still havnt got into the closed beta so hopefully i can get into the open one!

  6. John Smith says:

    @TQS

I know it has exceeded my expectations. Now if I can just get a group of friends together to routinely play with I will be set. This game is so much more fun when people play as a team.

  7. Lugoves says:

AssasinHD I’m Lugoves, me and one or two of my friends always have HS and use TeamWork. I’m only lvl 8 but my peeps have been playing bit longer – I’ll keep an eye out or add me … PSN Lugoves

  8. Lugoves says:

Looks like Qore Subscribers will “have the chance” to get in the Public Beta BTW http://blog.us.playstation.com/2009/08/20/gamescom-virtual-booth-tour-mag/

Well I have a group of 3 of us that can squad up since we do it in BF 1943 and there are others in our group that are currently in the closed beta. So if you see a squad with N1 in their ID then you will know that you were terminated by our pixel arms masters…

I have Qore so I hope the Sept issue gets us in sooner but if not the public beta will also work since I am currently in the Home “Public Beta”.

Does it mean that I could finally join the fun? :D I don’t mind if they require to buy Uncharted2 to get access (just like Uncharted2 did to Infamous), as I would really buy Uncharted2 nonetheless.

  11. DGR8Mc187 says:

Same here I would like to give it a shot myself

  12. Robotron says:

Trust me you want to get in. It has been an awesome experience so far. About the only thing that ruins it for me is the human equation. People take leadership roles and are absolute idiots with it.
As a leader you should give your team objectives and use strategy and air strikes….so far I have only seen this once in the many matches I have played.
Most “leaders” spend their time bragging about how great they are or what game they were playing last night while their team runs around like a pack of wild animals.

To the leaders out there who are reading……
When you give objectives it gives us all more XP and helps lost players know where to go.
So learn the maps, be strategic and use objectives. Thanks.

    fun story time:
Had this one “leader” who loved to talk about himself and run around ignoring his squad. I switched squads on the next map and my new squad leader gave us a bunker to blow up. I rigged the charges and stood back to guard my victory……only to watch my old “leader” go running up to the bunker and explode. I lost 5 XP…..but it was worth it.

If you clown want into beta a good way to double your chances is being a year subscriber to Qore, and then you can stop hoping and waiting and be in them. I’ve been in probably 5 betas all because of my Qore subscription. I mean I don’t do anything other than that. Oh yeah, I buy a but load of movies and games off of PSN. I guess that might be the magic combo.

  14. im from europe and i dont think we have anything like core here, we have official playstation magazine but its not really the same thing

  15. Krashdown says:

I really like the look of this game so far, i wish i had gotten into the closed beta… but hopefully i can get into the open one *fingers crossed*

  16. [...] PlayStation LifeStyle reported that the MAG public beta would be starting September 17th 2009. Looks as though that report was right, as a recent post on the US PlayStation Blog confirms. In the Gamescom Virtual Booth Tour: MAG post on the PS Blog, Chris Morell confirms some great news for current Qore subscribers. “Check out the video, and don’t forget that Qore subscribers will have the chance to get in on the MAG Official Public Beta on September 17!” [...]
