yeah the RE series is going down hill now. l suggest u save your money for a better RE game that is coming to the ps1 collection such as RE2 and 3

waiting for the next instalment in the series with a supposive “new direction”. hopefully you’ll be able to walk whilst aiming your weapon. that’s the one thing i hated most about the RE series.

RE5 was, well….it should have been better ….flame intended

I liked the way that the RE5 went in direction. I don’t like the “Well it’s going to be so many hours longer than RE4″ then ended up being way shorter.

I don’t need to be able to run and shoot at the same time.

Of course if you want to that’s fine. We can just enjoy the day when every single action shooter plays exactly the same in every single aspect, and every single way. Then we can take the same engine and use it for all of them as well. Hell who needs a different story? We can just do all that as well? But of course we don’t want to play the same people so… change some skins, and maybe toss in some new textures so we THINK we’re doing a different game every time.

That’s what everyone wants right? The exact same experience as another game on the market? After all being able to adapt to different controls makes you weak as a player. You have to have every button do the same thing across all games.

Yes… and then 1 day we can enjoy ALL the shooters just as much as any other shooter. That’s a great idea guys, I’m gonna start working on the last engine you’ll EVER need.

Not interested in paying $70 for this and we have yet to see a price drop in Canada. Maybe when it hits $30 I’ll pick it up.

I played the demo and wasn’t impressed at all. RE4 had some great atmosphere, but this one had none at all. It just seemed like any other shooter on the market. And keeping track of a second character seemed like it would be a pain as well. I suppose I’ll pick it up eventually, but even a $40 pricetag isn’t much of an incentive.

I haven’t picked this one yet. I love RE series until RE 4. Maybe i’ll pick this one up when its $20-$30.

Its cheaper on Gamefly.com for $29.98 just pay for shipping/handling if your not a subscriber to Gamefly but if if you are then its free. i am hoping RE5 can be a GH next year as its a good game but not as great as RE4.
