Modern Warfare 2 Snowmobile Splatterfest

Infinity Ward’s upcoming FPS monster, Modern Warfare 2, is set to break sales records across the world and resonate across both PS3 and Xbox 360 userbases with its breathtaking campaign and addictive multiplayer. But one thing the series isn’t known for is gratuitous violence, which is why the GamesCom 09 video included below is so surprising.
Rather having the screen glow red when taking on damage, Infinity Ward has decided to go on step further and actually splatter blood (or strawberry jelly as we call it) onto the screen. Hopefully it’ll either be taken off, or look more like blood once the game releases. If you don’t believe us, check it out for yourself.

Well, i’m happy that I won’t be joining the history. I’m not getting this game. Save my money on better games. I wonder if bobby koticks salary and bonuses would also break history?

I am also in the “not getting this game club” I need a break from FPS, I can’t wait for Demon’s Soul.
