Top 25 Reasons to Stick With Sony

08/24/2009 Written by Anthony Severino

psls-editorial

After reading GameDaily’s Top 25 Reasons To Ditch Sony, we felt compelled to offer a rebuttal, including 25 reasons it’s a good idea to stick with Sony and the PlayStation brand.

playstation_logosvg

1.) Innovation

Though at the beginning it hurt Sony by forcing a high price on the PS3, and pushing back the original planned launch date, the PS3 offers “future-proof” cutting edge technology.

2.) 10-Year Plan

The original PlayStation lasted a decade. The PS2 which was released in 2000, is still alive and kicking, with new releases monthly. The PS3 is sure to follow suit, being in it’s 3rd year, and picking up more steam than ever.

3.) PSN is Free Although admittedly, it’s not as robust as Xbox Live, but at the staggering low price of free, the PSN is more than you could hope for.

4.) Blu-Ray

Part of the aforementioned tech that helped fetch a hefty price tag for the PS3 at launch, it’s now the HD format of choice by all HD enthusiasts mainly due to HD-DVD waiving the white flag. On top of its use for High Definition movies, it also offers 25GB (dual-layer offers 50GB) of data storage to allow for bigger, better, uncompressed gaming goodness.

5.) Quality

Sony Electronics is a world leader when it comes to quality. And the PlayStation brand is no different.  Having a low defect rate, in a console generation that is plagued by major defect rates, is quite reassuring when plunking down your hard earned cash.

6.) Best First Party Line-up

This is a matter of opinion in essence, but Sony does offer the most First-Party titles, with the largest variety, ranging from sports with MLB 09: The Show, to shooters with Killzone 2, to the creative LittleBigPlanet, to party-games such as SingStar, and Buzz! Quiz TV.

7.) Controller

Sony’s Dualshock controller is tried and true. What gamer hasn’t held a Dualshock in their hands at least once in their lives? The comfort, the straight forward button layout, the inclusion of SIXAXIS motion technology (which sadly has never been used to its full potential) all make the Dualshock 3 the best controller on the market.

8.) Trophies

Rather than giving a score, PS3 owners are awarded trophies. The easy to understand system offers a easier way to compete amongst fellow gamers. The bronze, silver, gold system has been used for centuries, for everything including the Olympics. Throwing the Platinum in the mix for the sake of acknowledging full completion of all other trophies is a nice finishing touch to the tried and true system.

9.) Video Store

While it doesn’t offer as robust line-up as Netflix, the PS Video Store offers Movies, and TV Shows, in HD and SD, for rent or purchase. Most hot movies are released the same week of their retail counterparts.

10.) Frequency of Updates

Rather than Sony holding back updates to make each one appear to be more massive, we get firmware updates often, allowing us to have the most functional console possible.

those are all the reasons i love my ps3 for:)

  2. Adam Wolfe says:

Great write up. I agree with all factors and I think it is just stupid to completely ditch one system over the other. Each has its strong points and should be played by all.

  3. Paranoimia says:

Wow, that GD article is an Xbot’s paradise.

I like the way they mention “too much FMV chicanery” with a picture of the early KZ2 demo, when the game actually ended up looking BETTER than the FMV video.

And how on earth they justify the comment that Sony are struggling to get good games on the system baffles me. PS3 has 99% of the multi-platform titles, and its exclusive titles urinate all over the 360′s from a great height.

I don’t think PS3 is the better system because I have one, I have one because in my opinion, it has the better games. And at the end of the day, it’s all about the games you want to play.

  4. great write up, its nice to see someone putting out strong facts and not just biased opinions.

  5. good list… I agree with most. In a rebuttal you actually point out that the six-axis hasn’t been used to its full potential, which is something I’ve always wanted to see more of. #16 is purely subjective… I have met some pretty immature people online, and have never made any claim myself to be mature. The rest of it is pretty solid, it’ll be difficult for the xboters to tear it apart without displaying their ever dubious ignorance they’re so well known for.

  6. Danlord says:

Oh Wow, after reading that 25 reasons to ditch Sony [and go to Microsoft] list I laughed at the arrogance of some people.

    - a quote from their first section ‘who’s lagging behind the competition and struggling to put the best games on its hardware’ now Im a Playstation fanboy but I can argue my points with backup or I’ve lost hands down but this comment made me chuckle. Im wondering if they actually researched anything for the Playstation 3 games because … ‘Killzone 2, Metal Gear Solid 4, Infamous, LittlebigPlanet, Ratchet and Clank, Heavenly Sword’ Im sure he forgot about them.

25 – No Linux on PS3 Slim. Yeah everyone is going to boycott Sony because their new console doesn’t have linux installation, The standard PS3 does, but what does the other console have….nothing. This is not a valid reason to leave Sony because of 1 feature that has been taken away as many people don’t use this.

24- Home is boring…to some people its boring to others its a fantastic application. A nice social application with the good use of themed area’s like Fat Princess , InFamous, Resident Evil 5 to name a few…not a really good point to get people to boycott.

23- Sony beat the competition and made the Dreamcast redundant…thats a pathetic excuse to abandon them

Im going to do a very long post it seems :P

22- FMV – Well nearly every trailer for games have pre-rendered video advertising their game everyone does that, take Gears of War 2 you see so much pre-rendered video in that its untrue whereas Killzone 2 it did have a realtime trailer ..a Playstation download on the network callled Behind the bullet showing its all realtime and in lots of games they are realtime cutscenes..not a reason as we love to see extra detailed characters for cutscenes..better quality.

21- Identity Crisis. Wow because its a home entertainment system or a games console or a god-machine of such. Everyone knows what a Playstation 3 is regardless of ofificla title. Lets abandon Sony though because of this…

20- Unsupported peripherals. now yes it does seem as they have less support for the PS EYE and didn;t do much for it, but they’re making up for it with EyePets and the motion controller and I;ll be damned if they’ll stop there as the motion controller needs the use of the Ps eye but I do agree that it did lose support for the Eye, but its getting support pretty soon.

19 – trophies. I was fine without trophies, its even better now with them and because Sony was late in getting game rewards its a bad thing? I think trophies better display the gamer 10,000 gamerscore seems a lot but we dont know if they just did loads of crap achievements, on trophies if you see someone with 15 platinum trophies you know this person has done well to get them and are an experience gamer, i think this way is better than achievement gamerscore.

    18. Not enough first party games – Uncharted 1&2, MAG, God of War III, Modnation Racers, LittlebigPlanet, Infamous, Heavenly Sword, Metal Gear Solid 4, Heavy Rain, Ratchet and Clank, Quantum, Wipeout HD, Fat Princess, Crash Commando, Warhawk, PixelJunk, Pain, Tekken 5 Dark Resurrection and online, White Knight Chronocles, Gran Turismo 5, Eyepets, Motorstorm…shall I continue!?

    # Im going to stop here unless people here at Playstation Lifestyle want me to continue my beatdown of that pathetic list they had.

Additionally, I find every listing on here why to stay with Sony valid and very true.

  7. michaelja says:

Honestly, some of your points I disagree with, some I think are wrong.

The trophy system is an overly complex mess in my opinion. By comparison the 360 achievement system is simple and to the point. I can also see more information at a glance quicker on 360.

Also installs is available for all games on xbox 360 now. Its an option that’s available, not mandatory, so it’s not even debatable 360 is better in this regard.

“PS3 owners are more mature” because you don’t hear them? I think it’s hard to argue that many don’t even have headsets. When I see people playing Motorstorm with nicknames like “White Power” and “420″ in them, it’s hard to agree with your point just because they are generally silent.

Lag free online is offered by both systems, both have their hiccups with their 1st party titles at launch. See Gears of War 2 and LittleBigPlanet.

#15 is a well worded way of making a negative sound like a positive. Sure they have “most 3rd party games” but does 360 have more? The way you word that, it sounds like an attempt to spin a concession of 360 having more games positively.

I have to say XMB vs NXE is a personal preference.

#10, firmware updates. Honestly these always seem to be slow and for features I don’t want.

All of the above is written by someone who has both systems, and had his 360 even break recently. Sadly 360 is my “main” system just because it has Netflix, smaller downloads (and no installs) for demos, and I like the achievement system better. I dislike having my “main” system be one that has an abysmal failure rate, but I really think 360 offers more. When a 1st party game comes out, or a movie on dvd or bluray, thats when my ps3 gets powered on.

  8. #20 the whole audio thing isn’t necessarily a “plus” since you never needed to bit stream your audio to get DTS-MA but you know what I guess people like knowing that there receiver is actually doing something when a light turns on : P

#4 Don’t forget about 8 layer Blu-rays that come with 300gb of space. Giving you the most epic experience ever XD.

  9. Danlord says:

skullking123 – im sure its 16-layers with 400GB but who cares, thats amazing still and its compatible with the Playstation 3…its still epic. I wonder when they’ll implement it for PS3

  10. WTF, that GameDaily article was TERRIBLE! I thought we were all passed BS stuff like that. So much of it was just flat wrong.

I haven’t read this article yet, but I love how PSLS responds when sites spout this crap.

  11. @michaelja – keep in mind its a list of reasons to STICK with sony, not reasons why sony is better than others

  12. shadowjin says:

I agree with everything except number #20.. all PS3 give you lossless audio and LPCM is no different. Newer models PS3 have an updated HDMI chip to pass the signal threw unlike the old non Slim designs. To say it has lossless audio implies that older models don’t give you the same results which is false. Slims will light up your Master Audio and DTS HD light but wont enhance anything.

I think 20 would have sounded better by saying the PS3 can give you access to Master Audio and DTS-HD tracks and the newer Slim models can pass the signal threw bit stream.

    @skullking123

i agree, glad to see someone knows there audio around here. the plus is that it can play HD Audio files and no other system can.

  13. michaelja says:

@BigWoopMagazine – Understood however when two things are equivalent, it’s not a reason to “stay” with something. The advantages and disadvantages are compared and the equivalent items don’t really carry any weight as they cancel one another out.

  14. DRCD1 says:

I can’t belive that he (the guy from GD) said that PS3 had worst exclusives than X360!!! The X360 has Fable 2, the PS3 has FF vs. 13, Demon souls and White knight chronicle (I think at least one of those is better than Fable, but I haven’t playes neither). X360 has GeOW, we have Uncharted 1 and 2 and MGS and every other TPS. X360 has halo, we have KZ2. X360 has alan wake and I don’t think the PS3 has any exclusive of Horror, but has lots of platformers and soon will have an awesome slash’em up (GoW3) and an awesome adventure with controls that surely beat XBOX360′s monkey Island (Heavy Rain), a great variety of exclusives for everyone and anyone.

he also said that home’s boring, and though, since I don’t have many friends with Next gen consoles, I agree w/ him, I like to go home every now and then and saying the PS3 sucks because of home (I’ts not like xbox had anything like that) it is something like this: Imagine tha Uc:DF had a horrible online, but the rest was like we see it now, and insteadof getting a 9/10, it’d get 6/10… that’d be stupid

  15. shadowjin says:

    @ Danlord

the reason it took Sony awhile to pick up steam was because they didn’t pay for exclusives, while MS was busy buying Sony’s exclusive 3rd parties Sony focused on buying game studios for exclusives. i agree that article written about the ditching Sony was hilarious there was no research involved just 1 guys opinion and no facts beyond what a fanboy would say.

  16. OK, my turn to make some responses,

    @ michaelja

I think the trophies vs. achievements just comes down to what you started with. I started with trophies and I like them better. For me, there is something about earning bronze, silver, gold and platinum trophies that is more rewarding than just getting an arbitrary number of points.

The installs on the two systems have different purposes, so I think the comparison is flawed. The PS3′s installs are intended to shorten loading times. The 360 installs are intended to keep to DVD drive from spinning so you can actually hear you game (they’re so loud!) and probably to make that disk scratching issue less common. In fact, I’m pretty sure I’ve heard some games don’t run as well on the 360 when installed.

I think people like to say PS3 owners are more mature because studies have shown that the average age of PS3 owners is higher than for 360 owners.

I like the XMB more, and I enjoy the frequent updates. But yeah, that’s all preference.

Anyway, this wasn’t meant as an attack on you. I just wanted to make a rebuttal as someone who also owns both systems but uses the PS3 as his main system.

  17. Danlord says:

    @shadowjin

Fair enough, but he’s just written the article so he should know what games are already out for the PS3 and know that there is a big list of exclusives and even though I did mention unreleased games its still to the point of first-party games, but yeah I agree Sony did take a while to pick up the pace, but now look at the PS3 present and future!

  18. michaelja says:

    @ JasperLoons

Regarding trophies vs. achievements I think points allow achievements to be more granular. In Rock Band 2 for example, there’s two trophies of the same value, one for doing something on medium, the other for doing the same task on hard. I think if Sony came up with something more granular and placed more emphasis on the RPG “leveling” it would allow for more transparent comparison. I know Im a level 8 and you’re a level 9, but I have no idea without significant browsing to see what the difference between us is or how much Id have to “catch up”.

Regarding installs, the end result is the same most of the time. You are right though, some games don’t decrease in load time. However the installs are to handle the slower data reads of bluray, not to increase them beyond dvd load times. Similar to how developers sometimes repeat data on the disc to compensate.

Age does not imply maturity. As an adult I can safely say some mentalities don’t progress beyond high school level. :-)

  19. maraky says:

I was a Xbox fan boy not so long ago and i always said i wouldn’t get a PS3 but after hearing about the price drop and the amazing games that will be coming out next year it just changed my mind completely and im now getting a PS3 soon :)

    @ Danlord

Your points made were really good and thought out. Bet it took you long to type it all

  20. You are all welcome to your opinions, all I ask is that you keep the discussion civil toward each other. Everyone is entitled to their opinions, please respect that between all other members commenting on this article.

  21. shadowjin says:

    @ michaelja

i respect the fact you didnt agree with everything… no matter how many articles i read at times the redundant “agreed responses” get old and sometimes make me stay away from pure Sony sites.

Very few people post there real opinion which i always found to be a form of kissing ass.

your points do make complete sense, i got alot of hate mail playing SC4 just because the guys on the other end couldn’t take a loss.. so the mature gamers on the PS3 idea doesn’t hold ground. Your correct.

  22. Danlord says:

    @Anthony Severino

    My bad :S

I really like this article as I agree with everything. The award-winning XMB looks and feels brilliant and with an upcoming update to get an even better experience. the exclusives are top class and the features are sweet. And since the PS3 is going to have a 10-year lifetime we know that were going to get lots of focus from Sony and being in its 3rd year with the amazing line-up present and upcoming, future products [Motion Controller], more titles coming out, more features [dynamic backgrounds, possible cross game chat, movie downloads] it just goes to show that the Playstation 3 is worth investing your money into…

  23. Danlord says:

    I forgot to edit it out, I said the beginning part about I agree with everything, I do except this part;

    ## 16.) PS3 Owners are More Mature

While playing online, I am rarely greeted with the profanity and racial slur-spewing 9-year-old which is commonplace on the other service. Many original PlayStation owners grew up with the PlayStation brand, and are now PS3 owners as adults. ##

I just don’t know really, but I play against people and I don’t get silly hatemail of such when I beat people or if there is something they don’t like, , even though the average age for the PS3 gamer is higher than the other console I wouldnt make this a point in the list . Just wanted to clear that up.

    @Anthony Severino

Ahh alrighty, well I can agree to keeping things civil and my discussion did seem a bit towards the offensive against the other article and this is a good discussion between us all so I hope it stays civil.

  24. wtGp says:

Once again the PSLS does an awesome rebuttal editorial. Of course l already knew these reasons to own a ps3 since l bought it a long time ago

  25. This will be a great compliment to my repertoire of responses to use when people ask me if a PS3 is worth it…

    which it is.

  26. Good article, but I have to disagree with 1 thing and add another…

I believe that Trophies are the worst thing to happen to games. Hunting for trophies has actually ruined games for me. Now instead of playing games I like for a long time, I am buying and playing every piece of crap that comes out and wasting hours of good play time for a shitty bronze. Also the trophy system is not “an easier way to compete amongst fellow gamers” because all people care about is the platinums and golds (because they are supposedly harder to get) and consider the more common bronzes crap. So If you are level 15 with a shit ton of bronzes and 4 or 5 platinums and I am level 12 with 10 platinums and less trophies over all than you have just in bronzes… somehow, I did better than you???

The system is flawed and in my opinion the worst thing than Sony did to us. Seriously… did we really need to rip off Xbox points thing to be better gamers?

the addition to your list is actually just the simple FACT the Sony has offered us the best in gaming for many many years and hasnt failed us yet. All the things you said are a given when the company takes as good care of you as Sony has us all these years.

  27. kirobz says:

I don’t really understand people like GameDaily’s writers. Just the defect rate is more than enough reason to ditch MS and chose to stay with Sony. Plus, when playing Xbox 360, you could hear more the jet engine rather than the game that you are playing. I? don’t know why they say that the xbox has a 50% – 70% failure rate when all the people I know already has a RRoD. So, that’s 100% in my count.

    @GameDaily’s post
Here’s some of the things that you should have known before you post that article.

    #2 3rd Place
-Sure, but not for long. Don’t expect the Xbox 360 in the second place next year.

    #7 Developers won’t support the PS3
-I really like Valve until what they said. Not supporting the PS3 becuase it’s hard? That can’t be an excuse. That’s just unprofessional. It was pure lazyness.

#8 You rarely get anything for “FREE”
-I can’t believe that they said this when MS charges everything.
-Here’s the things that you get for “FREE” on PS3:
    -FREE Online Play
-FREE Themes (you could even make your own, or download from other sites)
-FREE Wireless(Its supposed to be standard. Well what can you expect for a crappy product)
-FREE from “Buy Only Our Products” ($100/Wireless Adopter;$100-$150 HDD)
    -FREE Defects

-Here’s the things that you get for “FREE” on XBOX 360:
-FREE to pay for everything that the PS3 are giving for free.

    #9 We have iPHONES
-Sure some of the games on iPHONES are fun. But seriously, are you really going to compare the games on iPHONE and the PSP? That’s like comparing games from PS3 and Wii (You must have really like the Wii).

#10 XBOX has a better controller
    -That’s more of a preference.

#11 Little To No Graphical Difference
-Most Multiplatform Games do want both console version to be equal. On the first year of the PS3, it’s version was inferior. But now, with the developers getting the hang of the PS3, most multiplatform games are now better on the PS3.
-Exclusive games also looks better on the PS3.

    #15 Arrogance
-Do you think that XBOX 360 is better just because it’s cheaper?

#18 Not enough First Party Games
-With Sony’s PS3, you have: (to name a few)
    -Little Big Planet
    -Gran Turismo
    -Uncharted
    -MAG
    -God of War
    -Singstar

    -With Xbox you have:
    -Fable
-Halo (Oh…I forgot that they’re not first party anymore)
    -Forza
    -More Fable
-More Halo (I TOLD YOU they’re not first party anymore)

    #20 Unsupported Peripherals
-That’s a good excuse for Xbox 360′s lack of peripherals. Oh, but they have a Wireless Adopter for your $100.

    #24 Home’s Boring
-Is it because that the Xbox 360 doesn’t have home? And provided you with cartoonish wii-like avatar. (He really loves the Wii)

PS. I think that the #23 should be: Because it’s going to kill MS too!

  28. shadowjin says:

    @ darkangel269

    i 100% agree with you…

some gamers think that because they ran out the door to rent an EASY trophy game to get a platinum aka Terminator Salvation and buy games on the PSN with simple trophies that they are better gamers… clearly there just trophies whores or renters. ive come across so many people who dont even OWN the games they have listed on there profile. The majority of there score is based on down loadable games. This is why i play my games for the fun of it, which ever way i want my first time around THAN on my second run trophy hunt.

Trophies add to the replay ability of the games but not by much..

  29. megs1120 says:

Was the original article a parody? That guy can’t be serious.

  30. Danlord says:

@kirobz – yeah man, everything you posted is true and disregards everything on the original post, read mine aswell, I stopped half way through because my post was becoming a huge novels-worth and I could go on about every point and with valid reasons of why its false.

I would love to write my own 25 reasons to stick with Sony list but it wouldn’t get an article like this one, wonder if anyone read my entire list I was ranting that long….

  31. kirobz says:

@Danlord Yeah me too! There’s still a lot to write. I could make my own list why to own PS3 and a 100 reason why not to own a XBOX 360 (ok, maybe that’s exage).

Oh and I forgot to mention Infamous as a Good First Party Developed games. Seriously, Game Daily wants to divert the potential PS3 owners especially that the price tag is more appealing. It doesn’t make sense but I guess that’s what a fanboy is all about.

  32. Nice article. Ps3 being region free would be another great point to add.

  33. shadowjin says:

    @ Infernostew

the PS3 is not region free.. if your not there you have to find another alternative to purchase the item that may not be compatible with your region..

  34. megs1120 says:

    @ shadowjin

No, the PS3 is region-free. Only with certain features like Vidzone and PlayTV do you have to be in the region in which the software came out. There is also the matter of NTSC and PAL displays, but with HDTV screens, that isn’t an issue.

PS1 and PS2 software, however, is region-locked, even on the the PS3. Then again, downloaded PSOne Classics are not tied to their region of origin.

  35. People have always complained about the installs. They gotta remember that PC gamers are used to them and many PS3 owners are PC owners as well. Why? Because between the PC and the PS3 you hit the most variety.

    Halo 1 and 2
Left 4 Dead on PC with Mods as well
Possibly Fable 2, but could be wrong
    Braid on PC
Castle crashers is going to the PS3
    Gears of War 1

Many PS3 owners are just people that have been gaming for years, thus we’ve seen games like Diablo, Starcraft, WoW, Doom, Quake, and many others in their finest forms. The 360 is like a family friendly gaming computer. Other than a couple of exclusives (timed or otherwise) it’s not much more than that.

The same could be argued for the PS3, but the PS3 is nothing like programming for a PC. Those 8 processors with 1 managing data to seven others, as well as a single processor being left for redundancy is far beyond what a normal PC understands.

Some games are bad with installs like Cross Edge, but others are amazing with installs. Devil May Cry 5 is a much more streamlined game because of it, many of those installs are optional and with 320GB HDD I’ve installed every single optional install I can (even for games I rented) and I’m still at a loss for what to do with my other 80+ gigs after loading up tons of anime, Qore, and so much more.

Thank Sony that Home is letting us change the cache size. Otherwise what else would I do with my HDD space? There’s another 7 gigs worth of optional install, I shall enjoy speeding up my load times with it.

  36. Theosdaddy says:

You’re preaching to the choir… I’m never likely to buy a Microsoft console- they’d have to send me a free one just for me to have one in the house…

  37. [...] and the rebuttal Top 25 Reasons to Stick With Sony [...]

  38. shadowjin says:

    @megs

i thought he was referring to the PSN not game disk.. my mistake

  39. BigDchamps says:

I love jamming on my 360. I love jamming on my Wii. Ilove jamming on my PSP and PS3 also. Good facts in article. Thats why I have a PS1 and PS2 to this day. :)

Sony is RAW sh*t and they know it.

  40. diesel1984 says:

One big reason to give it all up: the fact that Sony are shit when it comes to customer care and PSN support for a lot of the countries they sell they sell the console to.

Nice effort, but the article is biased.

  41. megs1120 says:

    @diesel1984

    You make two good points.

Getting the run-around from Sony is no fun. My only pleasant experiences during my out-of-warranty repair was the online support, which was slow and the actual repair and turn-around time, which was actually pretty fantastic. Not sure if it made up for the pain that was trying to get in touch with an actual person.

Second, you’re very much right about PSN support. Outside of the United States, Japan and most of Europe, the pickings are pretty slim in the store and Home is little more than it was when it first launched.

Not sure if either of those is a great reason to ditch Sony, but they are things to think about.

  42. “Rather than Sony holding back updates to make each one appear to be more massive” good point!

  43. Bonez says:

    2.) 10-Year Plan
Sony says 10yrs, but why don’t we wait and see if it’ll be 10yrs
    7.) Controller
I see more ppl wanting a 360 like controller more than I see them liking the PS3 control
    8.) Trophies
Ppl made fun of 360 when they came out with achievement, but when Sony didn’t have anything those same ppl whined about it. Which I find to be funny
    9.) Video Store
How is this better than Netflicks on 360?
11.) More Depth to Portable Titles
LOL Shouldn’t you be putting PSP against DS not Iphone? You picked the Iphone because it doesn’t have much for games
    12.) Re-invigorated PSP Support
Having more titles don’t mean anything. Having titles that ppl want to play is what ppl want. From the way the DS is selling it has titles ppl want
    14.) Lag-Free Online
Sony hasn’t been lag-free from Day 1 and you know it, so why even add this as a reason?
    15.) Third Party Games
After looking at NPD sales for 3rd party titles(07-09) 3rd party games always sell better on 360 than PS3.
16.) PS3 Owners are More Mature
This is just hilarious to me. You say they’re more mature, but then you give us a link to a website where they’re acting immature just because someones opinion is different from theirs.

“GameDaily’s Top 25 Reasons To Ditch Sony”

After looking at that site and being on PS3 forum they’re not looking to mature to me
    19.) 1080p
    “plenty of quality games”

and all you could come up with was one. Didn’t they have to get rid of some ads in that game because of #14, but Sony has been lag-free since Day 1, right? LOL
    21.) Installs
Being forced to install games is a reason to stick with Sony? Are you serious? Installing games eats up all the HDD space.
    22.) Upgradable HDD
Going out to buy another HDD just makes the price of your PS3 go up(add-ons) but guess it’s only a sin when you have to buy add-ons for 360, right?
    23.) Worldwide Recognition
Looks like that’s coming to an end by the hands of Wii
    24.) Variety
This is just #6 and #15 put together. You can add my responds here from #15. Sony does have the better upcoming titles, but as for 3rd party titles, I’ll be getting them for 360
