GTA: Chinatown Wars PSP Dated for North America
Rockstar Games shocked the world when it announced that GTA: Chinatown Wars, previously announced and released as a Nintendo DS exclusive, would be making an appearance on the PlayStation Portable. The critically acclaimed title was also a sales disaster, pushing just 88,704 copies during its first month on U.S. shelves.
Thus it makes sense for Rockstar to recuperate their losses by porting the game to PSP. The question of course isn’t “how good is the game going to be”, but rather how the touch screen mini-games are going to translate onto the PSP (or if they’ll even be included). GTA: Chinatown Wars is scheduled to release on UMD and PlayStation Network on October 20th, 2009. We should have screenshots from the game shortly, as well as word of a UK release date.

It seems kind of funny… The reason I don’t think this should come to PSP is because, it seemed like this version was made for the DS because they couldn’t do a version like the real deal like the PSP could.
Not saying I care or I’m against the PSP version being released, it just seems kinda strange in most aspects.
I almost bought the DS version too. But since it’s for PSP as well now, I’m gonna wait and see how it compares.
WOuld be interesting if this seriously outsold the ds version. Could be a trend starter. Its a great game so this is good news for everyone
What would you expect for a game like this to do in the DS. My wife has a DS and games doesn’t really have depth on it. I like GB but I guess I’ve grown up for handheld games. Although I would still want a PSP. And I like Stick Wars on the iPOD touch.

l saw an image screen shot of it and it still does that lame camera over head shot. l thought they would make it like vice city or liberty city stories but l guess lguess l’ll pass on this
