Grand Theft Auto: Chinatown Wars is on its way over to the PlayStation Portable this October 20th. Judging by this fresh batch of new in-game screenshots, the game is looking great.
Developer Rockstar has just let loose these screens, which show off how the PlayStation Portable will receive upgraded, widescreen graphics, better lighting and other effects due to the handheld’s increased computing power. Peep the stills in the gallery below and let the speculation continue as to how in the world some of those stylus-involving minigames translated over to the PSP, if at all.

I played on the DS and the driving and shooting didn’t use the stylus at all, I think it will transfer over just fine. It’s pretty amazing how tight the driving is, the soundtrack was pretty good too.
wide screen will be even better.

I just cant play GTA games on PSP. I prefer a full pledge offering, dont get me wrong, its a good game but personally, i prefer playing it with a full size controller.
GTA4 sucked ass, im not buying another GTA unless its the same size as San Andreas.

A 10/10 game sucked ass? Seriously LoveStrucked?
You see any better games out here?
Because so far it looks like Rockstar is the only place you can get a decent third person crime adventure game. I find it nonsensical that people ridicule Rockstar for putting a tremendous amount of work into a new gaming engine, using the euphoria engine, creating one of the most interesting video game characters, fun gameplay, fun missions, a exemplary multi-player experience and lastly the small funny easter eggs.
I rather have a new game rather than the same engine with a little bit of pixie dust on it.

Ok, whatever. I don’t know if after play GTA4 on PS3 that I could pick up my PSP and actually have fun rocking a game that reminds me of like 1995 as far as gameplay goes. Now the story may be off the chain and the fun factor may be off the charts but I’m really having a hard time thinking that my mind could give it a fair chance.

I got tired of the GTA series. In fact, I haven’t even picked up GTAIV yet.
