You can pay 5 dollars and get 40-50 tracks from Rock band 1, cost you an extra 4 dollars to rent the game probably, but you may be able to get the 60+ songs in Lego Rock Band for another 5 dollars and 4 dollars for renting. Plus a brand new copy of Rock Band 2 came with an additional 20 songs free, so that’s 100 total, plus 100 for 20 dollars (rental fees and reliscensing for the ripping) so your cost is 80 dollars for 200 songs.

The major thing about it though is that there are also a lot of 1.00 Rock Band songs (used to be a lot more, and I miss those days) and that all of those songs will be playable via 1 single disk. Having better drums and not having to swap disks is an instant win IMO.

Of course 200 songs IS assuming that the rumor about track importation from Lego Rock Band is correct and no one else used your free voucher for songs. Otherwise you’re down to like 130 which still is not a bad number at all.

Good point Matt ,but you would also have to like Guitar hero at all for it to be worth it .

How embarassing, they went back to numbers after world tour, i guess they ran out of names after the first one. I got rock band 2 last year, and dlc comes out every week, so theres no real need for a sequel imo. I guess if you’re into all the music and aren’t old enough to realize its a waste of money this is for you
