With so many RPGs like Cross Edge and Disgaea 3 adding extra length to their fairly long story modes with downloadable content, it only makes sense for the biggest RPG franchise of all to adopt that business model. Square Enix looks like it may follow in the footsteps of those RPGS with its upcoming PS3 and Xbox 360 game, Final Fantasy XIII.
Producer Yoshinori Kitase stated that Square Enix is looking into possible DLC for the game via PlayStation Network. When pressed for details on said DLC, he offered the following information.
“We are exploring the option of downloadable content, perhaps adding new areas, items or enemies, but these would not be expansions to the story, only the gameplay. The entire story of FF13 will be on the disc.”
As always, stay tuned on PlayStationLifeStlye for more news on this matter.

@TheHater yeah! It would be much better if it is just an exclusive so that the focus would just be on the PS3 only. Ports doesn’t really come out that great than being exclusive.
