PSOne Classics Get Odd

thatsodd

ESRB, yet again, you have rated some classic PSone titles for good ‘ole PSN. The ratings board actually did so well this time that they went so far as listing a total of eight PSone titles for PlayStation Network release. That’s right, eight!

You can expect the following great titles on PlayStation Network within the near future:

  • Blood Omen: Legacy of Kain
  • Cool Boarders 3
  • International Track & Field
  • Oddworld: Abe’s Exodus
  • Oddworld: Abe’s Oddysee
  • Pandemonium!
  • Syphon Filter 2
  • Um Jammer Lammy

It’s important to point out that Um Jammer Lammy has already been released in Japan. While both Blood Omen and Pandemonium! were already given ratings, both were promptly taken down.

What title are you most excited for? Let us know in the comment section below!

I am excited about potential releases of FF8 & 9! Where are you Square??

both Oddworlds would be nice to have on my hard drive. Blood Omen would be cool as long as they’ve fixed the horrid loading time issues between screens. that’s the only thing that made the game unplayable for me. don’t care for the rest of ‘em. this list will put the US PS1 DL total at over 60 titles in the store. not too shabby Sony.

  5. MakaiOokami Says:

Hell ya Blood Omen. Not quire sure I want Soul Reaver, due to the fact that I have the PS1 AND Dreamcast version and I was so spoiled on the dreamcast version that I can’t stomach the PS1 version… but since it’s on PSP I might be a bit more liberal on it.

As for the games I would be MOST excited for getting on PS1 would be…

    1. Bloody Roar 2 even though I own 2 legit copies
    2. Megaman Legends 1, 2 and Tronn Bonne even though I own 1 copy of 1, 2 copies of 2, and 0 copies of Tron Bonne. Hell throw ALL the Megaman games up.
    3. Rival Schools. Because it’s a classic that I love
    4. More great Shmups. I love shmups.
    5. Last but most certaintly not least, Final Fantasy IX because I quite agree with series creator and to me that’s the best Final Fantasy released thus far.

P.S. An HD remake of Soul Reaver would be day 1 preorder and purchase.

Abe’s Exodus. I still own Oddysee, and love it, but never played all the way through the original… so I gotta try it. Awesome!

Still waiting on Resident Evil 2 and 3 which were rated months ago.

  12. giese095 Says:

why Coolboarders 3 already? We just got Coolboarders 2 and have had the original Coolboarders for a while. They should focus their energy on something other than snowboarding games.
