they could have a konami collection , packed in with metal gear soild 2 , 3 , with silent hill 2, 3 ,4 metal gear on one disc silent hill on the other.

This would be great. Sony is making much out of the lack of BC of the PS3. I hope they add MGS4 to the collection and would make into 2 BD (unless they use the new BD technology which I heard can hold upto 200gb i think). And Silent Hill would also be a nice treat. I hope that younger generation gamers would also enjoy what we had. Although I’m not hoping that much.

for MGS wouldnt it be better if they reproduce the substance/subsistance versions along with a new version of MGS4 of the same nature?? it would certainly make much more sense than just re-releaseing the original package. plus it would give them a chance to reignite the multiplayer in MGS3 as well.

Sorry didn’t really buy a PS3 to play PS1 games and only got the BC enabled 60gig to play a handfull of PS2 games.

Silent Hill I could see on Blu-ray either by including Silent Hill 2 & 3 or maybe all four games. Metal Gear Collection would be nice if it included MGS2 and MGS3 with trophies and updating the graphics. I bet Konami probably wants to see how God of War Collection sells before deciding to do so or maybe they will announce it in the Fall. It would be cool to see a MGS Collection before Metal Gear Solid Rising comes out next year.

I really just want MGS 3, but would gladly take the other two if a collection comes out. As for Silent Hill, I’m not really into horror games.

l would love an MGS collection although l don’t think you could put MGS 4 in one Blu-ray disc along with the others since they had to use a dual layered one for MGS 4 to just barely fit on

I would buy an Metal Gear Solid Collection in a second.
Missed out on Metal Gear Solid on PS1 and really want to play it.
