Sony’s Massive Advertising Campaign Blitzes UK

Sony recently started an £82 million ($133.5 million) advertising campaign, in Europe alone – the PlayStation’s biggest since it launched in 2007, bombarding television channels with commercials that promoted the machine’s multimedia functions. Now Sony has upped its game again, providing a wrap-around advert for the British free newspaper ‘The Metro’. 1.3 million copies of the paper are distributed across the UK, each of which are read by an average of 3 people, highlighting Sony’s commitment to the PlayStation brand. The pages, which push the new price point of the slimmer console, the new flashy PlayStation website, as well as Vidzone and Singstar can be seen below:
