yea, need cheap Hz? go plasma. suuuure you coouuuld get burn in… so don’t leave your game on pause for an hour. 600Hz on mine, no prob. Try getting an LCD that can do that? you’ll pay $500 more to go from 120 to 240…
skullking – you still need the glasses. all types of 3d require it…
Now if only they could get it working with polarized glasses instead of that red/green bs, so the colors don’t get all screwy. It looks really weird when you’re colorblind

I have not found a good reason for 3D gaming. Does it really add that much to your experience? Plus, doesn’t it make the screen look bad? (As seen in 3D movies)

Our plasma claims a 600 Hz speed, so I think I’m good. Assuming the tech will work with plasmas.

ok can someone explain this 3d to me. I know currently I can watch 3d movies if I have some 3d glasses but if i had a 120hz+ tv does that mean I wouldn’t need the glasses?

Well the first 3d ps3 game (minus disneys g force which uses the old red and blue glasses) is avatar that comes out in november according to ps official magazine. I don’t see how 200hz is required when a most dlp tvs are 3d ready and are not over 120hz and hollywood movies in the theatre are shot in 24hz
