Europe Sneaks in Solid Platinum Titles
Just in time for the PS3 Slim, Sony Computer Entertainment Europe has increased their Platinum titles lineup (Europe’s version of the US’s Greatest Hits lineup). Great news for all the new owners of the PlayStation 3, new European PlayStation gamers will finally be able to get their hands on some of this generation’s greatest titles thus far, and at only half the price.
Most notable on the list is 2008′s best PS3 game of the year, Metal Gear Solid 4: Guns of the Patriots, available now for only £19.99 / €29.99. Next up on the list are Motorstorm: Pacific Rift, Resistance 2, and none other than Killzone 2. With an impressive backlog lined up for new on top of heavy-hitters lined up for the remainder of the year and onward, new PS3 owners should be getting a lot of game for their buck.

That box art looks sooo regrettable to those who haven’t bought the game yet. Bright big yellow colors, and so much tabs and icons on it. It just screams out “Yeah I’m late for the party” when you look at your collection of games

I’ve already seen MGS4 (and pheraps MS2: PR) in the platinum lineup since april or may.
