Batman: Arkum Asylum is one of this year’s best games. It’s hard to imagine a game this good could be getting even better… Â but, in 9 days, it will…
For those of you who have been playing Batman: Arkham Asylum, you may have noticed the news ticker located at the bottom of the main menu screen. Just today, the ticker started showing that free downloadable content will be arriving in 9 days.
The DLC comes in the form of Insane Night DLC Pack (coming September 17) and Prey in the Darkness DLC Pack (coming September 24th), the latter is rumored to be PS3 exclusive.
Insane Night DLC Pack consists of the Dem Bone’s Scarecrow Challenge Map Packs, and Crime Alley Challenge Maps, both of which were originally thought to be exclusive pack-ins with Gamestop, and Collector’s Edition purchases.
For those of you who haven’t been playing Batman: Arkham Asylum, head on over to Amazon.com right now where you can get Batman: Arkham Asylum for the low price of $52.99, as part of Amazon’s Deal of the Day.
DLC that gives those whiners that say it should have been there anyway another game to moan about…
@SPD55
true
I read a whiner post somewhere that he didn’t get what he paid for.
Everyone really needs buy this game if they haven’t by the way.
free is always a good thing and l’m glad this content is coming, l want to play these DLC
Big news. I can’t wait.
Would’ve loved to have tried out those DLC but unfortunately I got the YLOD after downloading 3.00.
sweet i hope its an exclusive it would just add another reason to get the PS3 version. lol i wanna play left 4 dead 2. lol randomness
cant wait… free makes it just that much better
can’t wait, though I think the challenge rooms are a bit too hard to get triple bats. Maybe I just suck at the fighting part.
just finished this last night, 5/5.
more free stuff is great news
I just rented this game from GameFly since it’s only single player (There are very few games that warrant a second play through in the story mode for me, I need something new to keep me interested), but it is definitely one of the best games I have played in a long time. I loved every part of the game, except the challenges which is all these DLC packs are so I’m glad I already returned the game. I just don’t enjoy beating up the thugs just to get more trophies or whatever, I need more purpose behind it.
The deal of the day is more expensive than what I paid.
from the same retailer too. Epic!
Man, this game was so good, I forgot that I didn’t get those scarecrow challenge maps with my reserve like I was supposed to. DAMN! hah, glad they’re coming for free anyways.

Well I think the gamers spoke with their wllaets on this one and since the game sold so well the DLC was able to be released at no additional cost.
I need to stop reading this. I need my money for Uncharted 2. I’m sorry Batman.
