LucasArts Has Hidden Plans for More Star Wars
With titles like Star Wars Battlefront: Elite Squadron and Star Wars: The Old Republic in development, could anymore Star Wars title be unannounced? LucasArts has given a nice, straight answer.
LucasArts was on GameTrailers TV, and while speaking about their new game Lucidity, president Darrell Rodriguez revealed that a number of unannounced Star Wars titles were in development.
On another note, Rodriguez said that LucasArts has had recent meetings with Tim Schafer, Dave Grossman, Ron Gilbert, and Larry Holland. And what’s interesting is that three of these men worked on Secret of Monkey Island. The other, Larry Holland, brought us two classics, Star Wars: X-Wing and Star Wars: TIE Fighter. Rodriguez seemed a bit excited, saying: “Wouldn’t it be great to work with them on some new things?”

Star Wars stinks. How can anyone still like that garbage? Even the excellent first two movies (EPs 4 and 5) are taken down several pegs with the existence of the other 4 movies.
Have you even seen the other star wars movies? No? i thought not. Star wars is awesome, and some of their games are good like TFU and the Battlefront series. I also like the old republic. you cannot say star wars stinks.

The existence of crappy movies doesn’t make other movies worse, you must not like them very much if you decided other movies control your opinion.

He only stated his opinion, which had a silly explanation, but just his opinion. The next poster was telling him what he should like, Your “your opinion is not law” line should have been for the other guy who was telling him he should feel the same as him about star wars.
As for the announcement, I’m thrilled. 3 unannounced games? Who knows what they’re cooking up. My guess is a force uneashed type game, a x-wing type game, and for the third i’m guessing a halo odst type game with a clone trooper,

Star Wars is the shit. It is one of the only films to litterally have every mythological archetype present in it. Anyways I am just hopeing for more Force Unleashed type games. Never a big fan of the X-wing type.

The crappy movies don’t bring down the others?! One word. Midichlorians. You kids don’t even KNOW what’s good. You liked Transformers 1 and 2, didn’t you?
…and another thing. What other series can have 4 of 6 of their movies (at BEST 3 of 6) stink, and people still argue that it’s worth something? It doesn’t make any sense. It makes one look dumb to defend SW. You should from now on just concede that it’s been ruined by its creator, and admit that you still get joy from its lowest-common-denominator points…like lightsaber fights.
Actually Odium, I just meant the movies that are good are good, and the effect filled ones are crappy. You were just wrong in two posts. I agree it’s being ruined, the clone war cartoon is silly, And yes, I enjoy action parts of movies. If you don’t like excitement theres something wrong with you. AND i’m not even a star wars fan so stop preaching this crap to me. My favourite movies are better then star wars or that transformers shit.

Who would have guessed Star Wars could still create such an uproar– even in its’ video game embodiment– all these years later? I guess the movie Fanboys was NOT all that big of a stretch in terms of lemming-like followers, defending their SW beliefs to ad nauseam. Frankly, I couldn’t give a shit about anyone else’s take on the films… after all they’re just sci-fi flicks. I mean, I’m a fan of the Star Wars movies (I-VI), and even though couple of them flat out stink, I’d certainly NEVER allow myself to hate a movie because of a bad video game 10 – 20 years after the films.
Super Return of the Jedi for the SNES was an atrocity as far as video games go, but I can still enjoy the movie from time to time… no matter how much Odium thinks it blows!
