SCEE Handing Out 16,000 MAG Beta Codes

MAG, PlayStation’s 256 player frag fest, is one of the PS3′s most anticipated upcoming games, now Sony Computer Entertainment Europe (SCEE) will be sending out a whopping 16,000 MAG beta codes to European PSN users.
To get one of the codes, simply go to the competition page, sign in to your PSN account and click to enter. The codes will be sent out every week until Oct 1st 2009, to residents of Austria, Australia, Belgium, Denmark, Finland, France, Ireland, Italy, Luxembourg, Netherlands, New Zealand, Norway, Poland, Portugal, Russia, Spain, Sweden, Switzerland, and the United Kingdom aged 18 years or over.

I got my SCEA code (the one from Qore) last night! Also, I’m a little curious to know why Germany is left out of this SCEE competition.

My bro got his Quore beta code today but it does not work. It says either this code is in use or invalid. He’s waiting till Thursday thinking that that’s when he should put the code in to download the beta. My question to you is did your code work that’s if you entered it and downloaded MAG beta.
Not just jasper but i would like an answer from anyone who knows if you are able to download the MAG beta today or Thursday. Cause I’m trying to convince him to call Sony and say he got a faulty code and not lose the chance in getting into the beta he did pay for a 12 month subscription a few months ago so he should get a code that WORKS.
Rynxman, same thing, and it shouldn’t work until thursday when the beta is active. It works the same way with the uncharted 2 demo, I’ve had the code for weeks but it wouldn’t work until today. I’m about to leave work and check if it does. Got my Qore code for MAG today, but will be out of town thurs-mon, can’t check till after that!

If you uncharted code works do reply and say if it does then what you said would be true that the code doesn’t work till the beta is active

I haven’t tried it yet, but that’s because I’m about 99% sure it’s just not available for download until Thursday. It says in the email I got that it begins the 17th, and I haven’t been able to use my code for any other beta until the specified start date.
No need to fret unless it still doesn’t work Thursday. I’m guessing they will post on the PS blog saying when it’s all ready to go.

Good move with the big beta. I honestly believe that every beta tester is .5 people that will get MAG and maybe not even get COD. I have nothing against COD, it’s just that I like to see PS3 exclusives flourish.
