Activision Speaks on Modern Warfare 2 PS3 Bundle

Just the other day, PlayStation LifeStyle had told readers that Sony had stayed quiet on a Modern Warfare 2 bundle for PS3. Activision, however, has spoken up about it.
It was a simple question, when MCV asked Sony if a Modern Warfare 2 bundle would hit PS3, as one had did for Xbox 360. What followed was a curious answer:
“We’ve not made any announcements about bundle packs, but will let you know should that change.”
Unfortunately, Activision has now squashed any rumors revolving around a Modern Warfare 2 PS3 bundle. A representative told VG247 this:
“No, there are no plans, but thank you for asking”

meh…Sony should bundle Uncharted not this crap. Or a PS3 bundle with the God of War collection

If you COULD CARE LESS, that means “YOU CARE”! EVERYBODY on the internet uses this stupid expression and it drives me crazy! You are trying to say that you could NOT care less, meaning your interest has bottomed out.

MAG looks to be another great PS3 exclusive that will sell less than the game that the easy-to-please masses want. PS3′s legacy looks like it will be a bunch of cool games that only found an audience among discerning gamers.
MW2 does not look that great. Too much hype for this game. I am a huge fan of COD4 but MW2 isn’t going to blow COD4 away.

We should cut the guy some slack. It’s not just on the internet that the phrase gets misused. I hear that crap on TV shows and movies too. It is pretty hysterical how people use phrases without thinking about them though. My favorite example is “for all intensive purposes.”
Anyway… no, don’t care at all. Sony’s strength right now is its exclusives. An Uncharted 2 bundle is what they need for the holiday season.
Nope, I couldn’t care less about MW2. I lost interest in the game when Activision hiked the price for no good reason. There will be numerous alternatives, and most of them will be better alternatives.

im glas im not the only one that saw how badly said “I could care less” is
there is a bundle for it, the 250GB ps3 will come with it, so will the 120GB, thats a blatant lie, they only saying that because MS are paying them to make ps3 worse… in such sense like the timed xclusive maps
I really don’t care. I would rather have uncahrted 2 bundle or gran turismo.
Frankly, I don’t need a bundle because I have my PS3 and loads of games, but I think the best way to introduce someone to a system is offer a bundle with the lower-priced systems, not the higher ones. When I was thinking of buying my PS3, I considered the premium system, but seeing that it offers a game and only double the HDD space, I tossed it aside. I figured I could get the game if I wanted it and I was going to upgrade to 500gb sometime or another anyway, so why pay extra? What actually made me pick up the 80gb model in the end was a best buy deal in which you could buy a PS3 and get one of three games free (LBP, Killzone 2 or some baseball game). I picked it up the moment I saw that ad, along with LBP.

We all know that because Microsoft better supports third party developers than Sony, and therefore they support Microsoft, this comes as no surprise. I am glad we are getting Modern Warfare 2. I already have 2 PS3s and I don’t plan on getting another one. Well, if I had the money, I wouldn’t mind getting Slim. Just because my 60 and 80 cook my rooms.
Oh noes, how will I ever live my life? I don’t understand what is so big about bundles, I mean the majority of the people who will but the game already own a system. And it seems the only ones who care about the bundles are already owners of the system, and just want ammo for flamewars.

I seriously COULD CARE LESS. It’s not going to alter my judgement on buying MW2 or any other Activision sponsored game. It’s just a system and Playstation does plenty of exclusive bundles. Why is this one so hyped? Just because it’s MW2? Please… MW2 may be the most anticipated for some people but Ratchet&Clank and God of War will always remain at the top of my lists.

i believe that making a MW2 bundle would increase sales, although sony doesnt really need much more help since they have already launched the slim. I hope they make a god of war bundle

This happens to every great game, its overhyped and people think they’re 733t by bashing it. Well Congrats you speak against your own will and thoughts in order to look cool.
I’m not going to depict whether the game will be good or not considering graphics because thats all you people seem to be looking for. “Looks” “looking that great” “not looking good”
When somebody finally makes a fun game that doesn’t rely on graphics it gets bashed?
Whatever, 60 fps, dynamic maps, great scenery effects, intuitive story execution (That Killzone 2 obviously copied and failed), enjoy your MAG and Agent.
I’m perfectly fine with my copies of Uncharted 2 and Modern Warfare 2.
don’t bother me none. Just want the game. I think the xbox mw2 console is a bad design. Ugly!
Uncharted 2 bundle is better as it would introduce new owners on the best game yet.
doesn’t bother me, although it might have driven sales for those XBots who only want a gaming system to play things like COD and Halo and don’t really care about real gaming. I’m getting MW2 but I have to say I’m not really expecting much. When I heard they were going to include double-dueling pistols it dropped the credibility of the title for me to close to nothing. Just another example of Activision selling out just to try and drive sales rather than caring about a great gaming experience.
