God of War Raises Ungodly Desire
It’s clear that gamers will always be attached to their favorite classical titles no matter what new titles come out. And while there is easy money for publishers in re-releasing big-hitters from the previous generations, they don’t ever reach the sales levels or hype of their original release. That is unless your name is Kratos.
The announcement of the God of War Collection was a shock but no surprise thanks to a PlayStation.Blog survey. However, the data from Amazon’s wish lists and bestsellers data.
As seen in the image above, the God of War Collection is the currently the most wished for PS3 title in the ‘PlayStation 3′ category, only to be beat by the PS3 Slim in the number one spot (in both the ‘Video Games’ and ‘PlayStation 3′ categories).
What makes this feat significant is the fact that a couple PS2 games is beating out hard-hitters like Uncharted 2, MAG, Modern Warfare 2, and even God of War III. What’s your most desired upcoming title? Post your thoughts in the comment section below!

i still have both these games and a bc ps3 so i still dont know if this is worth $40 for just the trophies but ill probably end up getting it anway… that being said these are my top 5 most anticipated games in no particular order

Uncharted 2

awww i would so love a hd revamp of ico and shadow of the colossus but i reckon after this its as gd as a done deal (i hope!).
i would even love to see a hd black come out too, but then again, criterion may as well make a whole new black-type game. i still think its the smoothest, most responsive single player fps out there. the aiming was so accurate u could shoot flying grenades and make headshots on the run with literally 1 press of the trigger. if it had online multiplayer, tbh i think id still be playing it now.

God of War 3, Bioshock 2, and Uncharted 2, in that order. Hard to say I want this collection for anything but the trophies, considering that I still own these games and they work on my bc ps3.

This compilation is a great thing for God of War fans but it’s really not my cup of tea.
As for my most anticipated titles, I just can’t wait for….

The hype hasn’t quite kicked in for GOW3 for me so Uncharted 2 is way up there for me anyways i loved the first and im sure the 2nd is going to be SO much better.

Sony should do more of this coupling with other franchises like jak and daxter, ratchet and clank, ico and shadow of the colossus etc.

175 million users are going to outnumber 26 million. I bet most of those people don’t even have a PS3, which is why it’s listed at the top. Of course they’re vetting for those games over all the others, they don’t know the others that intimately.
