The official comic book store for the PlayStation Portable was announced last month at Gamescom 2009 and at this year’s Tokyo Game Show, the service was finally detailed and demoed.

Starting this December, the PSP comic book store will officially go live and will feature over 100 different comic book franchises from the get-go. Some of the titles named include Soul Eater, Fullmetal Alchemist, Dragon Ball, Bleach, Keroro, Evangelion, Hayate no Gotoku, Conan, Love Hina, Nodame, and obviously much more.

With the ability to zoom and pan and take literally hundreds of comics with you on your PSP, this PSP-exclusive service looks to be a thriving and profitable market for the PSP in the near future.
