Resident Evil 5: Director’s Cut Swings in With Motion Control

Straight from Sony’s second keynote at the Tokyo Game Show, Jun Takeuchi from Capcom Japan took the stage to show off Resident Evil 5: the Director’s Cut. During the live demonstration, however, Takeuchi revealed an interesting twist to the viewers.

Releasing this Spring 2010, Resident Evil 5: Director’s Cut will introduce the use of the new PlayStation motion control to the series.

    Unless the director’s cut contains more content than just motion controls, I will be passing on it. Personally I am not the least bit interested in motion controls.

    Another directors cut? I know companies need to make money but come on, scheduled directors cuts are just lazy. Unless this took a lot of work to incorporate the motion controller its a bit of a money grab.

    maybe the motion controls can make the game actually good

    i have a feeling this will be implemented good. that way everyone stops saying they removed walking and shooting making it “frustrating”.
