PlayStation Home is an avatar based service bringing gamers together to communicate in an online world. Like all online-based worlds, people get into all kinds of strange relationships. There have even been relationships resulting in “marriage” in many MMORPGs. Now people are looking for a date via PlayStation Home.
Apparently two D.C. area “college educated” men posted an personal ad on craigslist, where they wanted to “initially meet” women on PlayStation Home. I assume afterward they would attempt to get the women to come back to their personal ‘Home Space’. Check out the entire craiglist posting below:
We are 2 college educated men (23 and 25) living in the DC area. We both have good jobs (lobbyist, engineer). We are both tall (6’1”) and athletic. We are drug and disease free. Looking for potentially [long-term relationship] with college educated women around our same age, to meet initially via Playstation Home.

Hey, ow, what’s wrong with being under 5′5?
@ Odium_Generis
Likewise, I don’t really play many multiplayer games, though.

@DG
EXACTLY! If all of this was true, why would you be posting on craigslist and HOME? You would have girls lined up to date you.
@Megs
Nothing at all!

@wtGp I guess. First time I’ve seen something like this from craigslist.
Me and my wife met because of an MMORPG named Ran Online in the Philippines. We didn’t met in-game. I went to one of their events and she was hosting and modeling. I find it awkward since I just got out from a bad relationship and was playing this MMO to avoid girls. lol.
