In less than one month, one of the best games of the year will hit store shelves. And already, Naughty Dog is planning ahead of release.
Talking on G4TV’s X-Play last night, Naughty Dog revealed plans on bringing Uncharted 2 DLC to PSN. They said that this would come in the form of new multiplayer maps, but didn’t go into it further.
What DLC would you like for Uncharted 2? Post your comments below!

Most definitely!
I would probably buy every multiplayer map pack they release, I absolutely love Uncharted:Drakes Fortune and I can’t wait till they release the open beta at the end of the month so I can play it aswell as they said on Twitter -
‘@klasickDOA I don’t have any not sure if any more are being given away. Don’t worry though, on Sept 29 the MP demo will be available to all!’
I can’t wait to play this game, they have improved everything from the focus depth, the high dynamic range lighting, shadow maps and water effects. I thought that Uncharted couldn’t be improved but in this sense Im glad ive been proved wrong! it will be amazing and will sell loads these DLC’s.
I know tihs won’t be free DLC as Uncharted is going to sell about 3m units I predict so with a huge market to cater for, even though free DLC would be sweet I don’t think they will.

More dlc maps would be awesome. I just hope they add more trophies with each dlc pack. Would be awesome if they added the same amount as Killzone 2.

multiplayer maps are ok, we can assume their appearance.
what would be real nice is if they added more to single player, like Fallout3
has done.

Everytime ND releases info about this game… I love them a little bit more.

WOW. A lot of you are are FOOLS… paying for map packs– really? Why pay for what should be there from the start? You’re all supporting their greedy business practices thereby perpetuating the entire cycle. This s*** used to be on the discs we bought brand new from the store- and that was it! If the online play survived (and didn’t get old after an embarrassing 6 weeks like a lot of games as of late), then the publisher would re-release the updated online portion… simply because people wanted it.
Essentially what’s being done now is that from the beginning (when you first buy the game disc) they give us the minimal amount of online play so that it just squeaks by to qualify as an online game but before the game’s even released the announcement of DLC will be available for multiplayer… which, in this case, just so happened to surface about a week after the game went gold (convenient, eh?). Then, no matter how good or bad the MP plays, we get hit up for more $$$ for maps a few weeks later- though it’s usually because the online is beginning to die out and they’re trying to keep us coming back. If the online didn’t blow in the first place, we’d play that over our other favorite online game.
If after 2 or 3 months the average number of online users has a respectable amount of players (at least enough so to justify them creating new content) then by all means, create and charge us for DLC… just a little later down the line. I’m not going to pressured into buying what looks to be cool and/or fun content to play for just 3-6 weeks and never return to it again (insert your disappointing games here).
Alright, I think I’ve made my point. Rambling on now and probably lost most of you by now but I couldn’t leave out my two cents on this.

Wow tell us how you erally feel about it Blood and guts , I do agree with him but in this case I have no qualms about buying DLC because it supports a great gaming company.

LMAO! But, yeah, Mc187, Naughty Dog is a great company- which is why I’m so disappointed with them, for pulling a move like EA or other greedy corporations solely interested in profit, no matter how bad their games are. ND’s brought themselves down a peg or two in my book. If I actually get the map packs, I’ll most likely get it free from friends or wait until a few months down the road when or if it’s cheaper than $3/map, but only if the online play is worth it. I liked the online beta, so who knows.

They should release a dlc of more co-op missions. And more multiplayer games.
September 26th, 2009 at 3:08 PM
better be free
September 26th, 2009 at 5:10 PM
Well, I think we all saw this one coming. Most multiplayer games release map packs. I haven’t really bought a single one because I think it’s a rip-off. If the price and the content would be reasonable, I may support it. It’s too early to be saying bulls about them.

FREE PLEASE!!!
No, seriously, if ND launches it free that would be amazing.

@OldBloodandGuts
What you said makes no sense. All dlc COULD come with the game, but what would you rather happen, they push back the release date a month or two for extra maps, or you play the game and if you love it, the maps are irrelevant. And 5-10 dollars for that 3-6 weeks of fun you mention is a MAJOR bargain. You pay over 100 to get into a theme park for a day. Plus, you don’t just pay for the disc, you pay for the work all the people did. When you buy dlc, you don’t pay for the hard drive space to get used up, you pay for the work they did on it. Companies work on DLC and give it away, I think you should be praising them instead of complaining.

i would like to see a DLC map for a new level based on a moving train for either co-op or multiplayer. that would pwn.
