Street Fighter is one of the most revered fighters of all time, with over nine titles in the main series. That is not even counting spin-offs. The latest Street Fighter title, Street Fighter IV brought on a whole new definition to the term 2.5D fighting. This trend looks to continue with this “super” announcement.

The cat is out of the bag…  Capcom is working on Super Street Fighter IV.

That’s right – that is T. Hawk. Many gamers were disappointed with the absence of this character from Street Fighter IV, but that looks like it’s going to change. Also to be featured in this new edition is Juri, as well as the likely possibility of more characters being revealed in the future.

So is it just with new characters?

Sigh, Looks like I will be trading in SF4 at some point. Of course then after getting Super Street Fighter IV I am sure I can look forward to Super Street Fighter IV Turbo.

T-Hawk is a cheat character. He just jumps in the air and flies at u non-stop on the original (if u can call the game he appears in the original so to speak!). Also, i found the difficulty level in SF4 to verge on the ridiculous. The first 3 fights are easy, then it gets 10 times harder in a stroke, up until u fight Seth (stupid fuckin’ name and a pathetic end of game boss- no imagination or thought whatsoever!) who is ludicrously hard- even on medium! I have no interest in SF4 or the new “turbo” edition. Gimme Tekken any day of the week when it comes to fighting games- even tho im incredibly disappointed with namco for selling their soul to Micro$haft and putting it on the 360, which will no doubt limit the PS3 version :(

well, after this announcement and the recent RE5 redo news Capcom can go F@ck themselves.
They screwed the pooch on RE5 vs mode and DLC character suits that were already on the SF4 disc, this is just more of the same nickel and dime you crap, i imagine all that content will already be on the new redo discs.
I was excited about lost planet 2 after the demo, but theres going to be better games this year and next.
Its seriously time to start a Capcom protest and run those assholes out of business.

  7. DGR8Mc187 says:

Frickin lamesauce what they add 4 new characters and charge you 60 bucks to rebuy a game that was incomplete from the get go and an abysmal online fighting system plagued with lag and plus you could only fight one person at a time and no lobbies.

TEKKEN is the king of fighters for me and always will be I’m with St.Anger on this one.
