When is the PSPgo’s release date, and what is the price?
The PSPgo will be available starting October 1, 2009 for the price of $249.99.
What comes in the box?
Packed along with the PSPgo, you’ll get the following: Media Go CD-ROM, AC adaptor, USB cable.
What colors options are available?
Piano Black and White.

How small is the PSPgo compared to the PSP-1000?
50% smaller, and 40% lighter than the original launch PSP.
How big is the screen?
3.8 inches.
Does it use UMDs?
No the PSPgo doesn’t feature a UMD drive, instead offers 16GB flash memory to store digitally downloaded games.
Does it require a Memory Stick?
No, the PSP go comes with 16GB of flash memory,which lets you store your favorite games, music, photos, videos, and more. Additional memory is available via purchasing a Memory Stick Micro M2 (available up to 32GB).

Does the PSPgo use Memory Stick Pro Duo?
No, Memory Stick Pro Duo will not work on the PSPgo. Instead the PSPgo uses Memory Stick Micro M2 which is available in up to 32GB.
How do games install on PSPgo?
Since the PSPgo doesn’t have a UMD drive all software is loaded digitally. Download content from the PlayStation Store. Easily access the store from your PSP (Wi-Fi required), PS3, or PC by accessing the supplied Media Go application.

What will be available to download at launch?
When the PSPgo launches in North America on October 1st, it will launch along side over 16,000 pieces of digital content, which includes 225 games which consist of 15 PSP Minis, PSOne Classics, UMD Legacy titles, along with newly and previously released PSP/PSN titles.
Can older PSP-1000, PSP-2000, PSP-3000 accessories work with the PSPgo?
No, the PSPgo uses a proprietary connector for both USB connection, and charging with the AC adapter. Other PSP-1000, 2000, or 3000 accessories such as protective cases, screen protectors, etc. do not fit the PSPgo’s form factor.
Is a credit card required to purchase content?
No, simply purchase PlayStation Network cards at local participating retailers in increments of $20, and $50. There will also be game vouchers sold at retailers. These vouchers feature a 12-digit code which is entered into the PlayStation Store connecting directly to the game download screen.

Does the PSPgo feature video out?
Yes, an optional composite or component cable is available. The composite or component cables for the PSP-2000 or 3000 will not work with the PSPgo’s proprietary connector.
What kind of benefits does the bluetooth 2.0 provide?
Pair your PSPgo with a wireless bluetooth headset, using the PSPgo’s Skype service provides an extremely low price cell phone anywhere with a Wi-Fi connection. Another example is the PSPgo could potentially pair with a PS3 console and be used as a controller.

Can’t wait for it. Tho I just picked up the Dissidia PSP, it doesn’t hurt to have another PSP. Unrelated news, I went to best buy yesterday and I found GT PSP on a shelf next to the Ps3 games. I thought nothing of it, maybe they just released it a couple of days early or something. So I picked it up brought it home and found out that the date was still 10/01/09. I love stupid people XD

Do you guys know whether or not the 16,00 items guaranteed at launch thing is only for US or is it possible for EU? mainly concerned about UK. Even half that i would be happy with, hell even a hundred.
