Demon’s Souls is slowly making it’s way to North America this October, but for now, we’ll just have to wait for the highly-rated title. However, the title has been somewhat put down for it’s difficulty, something not seen into this generation. With that difficulty, it may be as difficult to get the game’s trophies.

Thanks to the Conceptual Gamer, the website contacted Atlus via Youtube about a certain topic he wanted to know. Would the NA Demon’s Souls have a different Trophy setlist than the one found in Asia? Fortunately, Atlus responded.

“Hello. The US version has the same trophies available as the Asian versions of the game, but they will be counted as a new set. Therefore, you will be able to re-earn them. Thank you for your interest and support!”

Demon’s Souls releases October 6, 2009, exclusively on PlayStation 3. The title comes from From Software, who have developed the largely successful series Armored Core.

I so want this but I only got money for Uncharted 2.

I’m getting 6 games between now and the God of War Collection, including this beast here. I have no idea how I’m going to find enough time for all of them.

    @ kirobz

Suggest that someone get it for you this Christmas?

  4. @ Kwietstorm. Times are plenty NOW, but it will thin out eventually and we will get to these wonderful games.

  5. This game and Sonic Unleashed are hard enough that it’s ok for them to spend tons and tons of time getting the trophies. However, Sega Ultimate Genesis Collection Double Platinum makes you a failure.

I feel your Pain Kirobz , I feel your pain .

  7. My friends don’t understand why, but I ordered this *instead of* Uncharted 2. Being in North America, I know I’ll always be a be to find a copy of Uncharted 2 sometime down the road. Living in backwater Canada, sometimes I have difficulty finding games like Demon’s Souls without resorting to EBay (which I hate).

I think this game is going to be awesome – I’m considering it my PS3 version of Monster Hunter for now (come on Capcom, give the PS3 some MH love!).

I’ve been playing the Asian version of Demon Souls for a while and it is stupidly hard, most of the time your just leveling up, it is hard. very hard.
