Yesterday, Gran Turismo was released for the PSP both on UMD and as a digital download from the PlayStation Store to coincide with the launch of the PSPgo. If there weren’t already enough reason to pick up Polyphony Digital’s first attempt on the PSP, Gran Turismo will help rev your engines for Gran Turismo 5.

Even though Gran Turismo 5 isn’t releasing on the PS3 until March 2010, you can already start building your collection of cars. That is, if you own a copy of Gran Turismo for the PSP, which allows you to transfer you car collection to the upcoming Gran Turismo 5.

Get a head start on the competition by building your car collection in Gran Turismo for the PSP, available now at retailers, and on the PlayStation Store.

this is what l like, inter-connectivity between the ps3 and psp. GT and Assassins Creed Blood Lines are fine examples

  2. The old SOCOM Fire team bravo games did this with the PS2 SOCOM games. Objectives in one game unlocked things in the other.

I think this is pretty neat and I will take advantage of it, but not immediately. Part of the fun with GT mode is to start with a crappy car and slowly make it better and maybe get some more decent cars. Not gonna use this until I have a lot of money.

  4. I bet they limit the type or number of cars you can import.
