3D Dot Game Heroes Trailer Goes Zelda on PS3
If you have ever thought about what Zelda might feel like in 3D and on the PS3, then the upcoming PS3 exclusive 3D Dot Game Heroes will be right up your alley. Developer From Software, makers of the upcoming Demon’s Souls has put together a game that pays homage to the great Zelda titles on the NES and SNES.
3D Dot Game Heroes sets your player in a world where the king has made everything 3D in an effort to make his people happy. However somewhere in the process something went terribly wrong and now it is up to you and your group to save the day. Check out the trailer below for a look at the gameplay for the game which is due out November 5th in Japan. No word yet on a western release but hopefully someone like Atlus comes along to pick this up.

I want this game. Who say’s you can’t play old-school next-gen style.

I heard somewhere that Atlus and one other company [I think it was Ignition...] were in a bidding war for the rights to this game for North America; could be just a rumor though.
Once it does get picked up; I hope it doesn’t take ‘em too long to release it. I get the impression that pretty much the only thing they’ll have to do is translate all the text.

I’m hoping it’s somewhat a budget title. You know 40-50 or so. Otherwise I think it’ll get buried in obscurity.

wow, i hope nintendo sues the pants off them. They even have the hookshot. Don’t get me wrong, I’ll play it and probably love it, but it’s not original. It’s zelda with a not zelda twist. And what’s miyamoto’s is miyamoto’s….
