PSP Comics Being Heavily Supported

Japan just got another item to make both the U.S. and Europe jealous of it’s PlayStation Store offering. This time it deals with the PSP end rather than PlayStation 3. Pretty much every major manga publisher within the industry in Japan has just pledged it’s support to the Japan PSN. Here are some of the companies that have signed on:

ASCII Media Works, Bandai Visual, Enterbrain, Fujimi Shobo, Futabasha, Hakusensha, Kadokawa Group, Kodansha, Shogakukan, Shueisha and Square Enix

Beginning this December content from these publishers will begin making it’s way into the PSN updates for Japan. Hopefully it makes it’s way to the U.S. and Europe eventually, no word as of now.

That’s incredible. I’m probably going to get this if the trend continues.

  5. Honestly this super excites me. When is this supposed to start? If there is silver surfer, transformers and special issues like Superman Red Son i will be extremely happy. Have they said how large each file will be? Want to know if i need a new memory stick.

  6. This is pretty cool. I’m just waiting until we can get full books and novels… I like the ring of ‘PSPBooks’.
