The accolades and awards keep on piling on for the phenomenal PSP title, Pixeljunk Monsters Deluxe. This latest nod may be the biggest yet.

Dylan Cuthbert, head of Q-Games, the team behind the spectacular Pixeljunk games recently noticed that his studios’ latest entry onto the PSP, Pixeljunk Monsters Deluxe, according to Metacritic, was the fourth highest ranked PSP title of all time.

[Pixeljunk Monsters Deluxe] now 4th highest ranked psp game of all time according to metacritic, team is going to be over the moon

However, at the time of this writing, the game has jumped a spot higher-landing on number three of all time. So if you do not have this game, go out and get it…now!

I love PJM. I’m still sitting on the fence about my PSP Go, but as soon as I get my ass and gear and actually buy one PJM Deluxe is a definite download for me.

I just hope the success of this game gives Dylan a reason to give us more PJM on the PS3.

They were asked on their facebook wall if they planned on making an online mode for PJM on the PS3 and they responded:
“Not in this incarnation, but it’s something we’d like to look into for Monsters 2, a proper sequel.”
