Jak & Daxter: The Lost Frontier, is the newest Jak & Daxter title, coming from High Impact Games. The developer of Secret Agent Clank is bringing gamers a long awaited treat: a proper sequel to Jak 3 and Jak X.

Now, brought to you by the US PlayStation Blog, is the official release date and packshot of Jak & Daxter: The Lost Frontier. Jak & Daxter: The Lost Frontier will be officially released in both North America and Europe on November 3rd 2009.

PSP? hmmmm…I think a lot of people were hoping for a 1080p HD PS3 masterpiece.
I’ll pass though, I stopped liking J&D after the first one. Ok, I’ll admit it, I never stopped liking Daxter, only Jak.

I also stopped after the first 1. Thought Jak lost his charm when they made him “older and darker”. I mean, they didn’t try making Ratchet any more edgier and he’s still doing fine.
Like the old saying goes- “If it ain’t broke, don’t fix it!”

I was pretty fine with the old and ugly jak.
It made a good balance between the two characters.

I guess I don’t understand beta55 – to me Jak looks pretty much the same only a little older…
I would really like a new PS3 Jak & Daxter game though. I guess I don’t understand why you would continue such a great series on a handheld and leave your major console out.
