  1. Wow, that looks horrible. What’s up with all the chicken leg players? I know it’s an arcade version, but why make stupid decisions like that?

    yeah some of those legs are pretty thin, but horrible? I think you’re overreacting a bit there. If body scale is that important to you in an arcade game, arcade in this context meaning goofy and fun, you’re taking video games way too seriously.

    This looks way better than the NHL arcade that ea put out graphically, but it was lacking in game modes, so hopefully this will have more than quick play and vs online.

    I don’t associate arcade with goofy looking lol. If anything in a game where these guys are 300 pounds and coming at each other like 18 wheelers you would want to exagerate them by making them thicker than their real life selves (like the NFL Blitz games back in the day)… not make all of them look like high school freshmen lol. No, i’m not taking this too seriously the decision just doesn’t make sense.

    I don’t think EA cares what you associate with arcade, and I care even less. I was telling you that in this context that’s what it means. Making the players look more cartoony to match the gameplay/graphics/basic friggen idea of the game is hardly a stupid idea. Also I don’t remember reading Blitz anywhere in so I don’t know why you need to bring that up, it’s a different game.

    You should check out videos of EA’s NHL 3 on 3 arcade so you’ll maybe start to know what you’re talking about.

  5. Seems like an interesting game.

    @Johnny
    If he is taking games too seriously, then you are taking comments too seriously. Chill out man. lol. Have a bad day or something? :P

    when someone is wrong on the internet drastic measures must be taken.

  7. @Johnny
    Dang lol. Didn’t mean to get you stired up. I thought we were having a friendly conversation, but I was wrong. I’m not into the adolescent internet bad mouthing that goes on though, so i’ll leave it at that.

    This could turn out alright if the gameplay is high speed fun as long as they keep it a little challenging. Hopefully it will turn out like the old-school Blitz games we used to play in the arcade, those were great fun until the NFL made them tone in down :( .

  8. thats ok you’ll know for next time.
