Twitter Sparks Confirmation for inFAMOUS 2

inFAMOUS was released this May, to critical acclaim and well received sales data. The title featured Cole McGrath, a regular bike messenger who gains electric powers after an unknown package he is carrying explodes. Many users have wanted a sequel since release, and it seems developer Sucker Punch is about to deliver.

Via a tweet from David Sullivan, who has been in such shows as CSI: Crime Scene Investigation and Criminal Minds, as well as voicing the lead role of Cole McGrath in inFAMOUS, the actor confirmed the existence of inFAMOUS 2.

    Awesome.

    inFAMOUS was my first platinum trophy. I couldnt get enough of it. A sequel would be amazing.

    Why would they recast the character of Cole? If anything, they should do it to Zeke. How about removing Zeke all together?

    God, he got so irritating.

    Honestly, instead of recasting Cole they should just create a whole new story…why does it have to be a true sequel?? I say continue the series with a new hero with new powers in a new city. Nothing against Cole or the electric powers, I thought they were both awesome and I loved the game, but I fear the worst when devs. start talking about replacing people, etc…I just really, REALLY hope they don’t change too much.

    It would be cool if they showed Kestler side before he traveled back in time. But thats just a segetion (sry about spelling). I would also like the continuatin of Cole’s story. Mabye Coles powers are more advanced and he finally has to face the creature that Kestler ran away from. I think they will make a sequal that will be much better than the first. Im not downing InFamous just want it to be better than the first.

    Your spelling and punctuation leave a lot to be desired it must be “sed”!
    Segetion= Suggestion
    Continuatin= Continuation
    Sequal= Sequel

    C’mon, us Brits taught you to read and write 200 years ago, you could at least do the decent thing and remember how to spell!

    @giese while that would be nice. The story of iNFAMOUS left off pretty amazing. I’m actually looking forward on what would happen or what “had” happen to cole, if you know what I mean.

    If it were a bit more action-packed I’d buy the first part so I hope the sequel will meet my requirements. If not , I’ll be satisfied by demo.
    Also some more tools for Cole to exterminate his enemies would make the game more enjoyable

    I’d like to see two things in inFamous 2;

    1) A good story line that doesn’t identically overlap the evil story line.
    2) Less blast shards.

    Sorry about my spelling, my computer has a very small keybourd and most of the bottens need an extra push to get them to work. Im planing on purchising a new, bigger, one soon.
