Keep an ‘Eye’ on Upcoming Uncharted Prequel
Ever wonder what happened before the events of Uncharted: Drake’s Fortune? Possibly the adventures both Nathan Drake and Sully had, or how they met? Well, wonder no more. The recently released Uncharted 2: Among Thieves is getting itself, and it’s predecessor, a prequel.
During a live webchat on the release date of Uncharted 2, Naughty Dog officially announced a motion comic prequel for Uncharted.
“We have an exclusive announcement! We’re releasing a prequel story to Uncharted 1 as a motion comic voiced by your favorite actors from the two games. Stay tuned for more info.”
The title will be called “Uncharted: Eye Of Indra”, and feature a new female character, named Rika. Two of the voice actors from the series will be returning for this comic as well.

I thought the comic thing was only for Marvel comics but I guess they can incorporate others as well

It’s not only for Marvel comics; Marvel just happens to be very vocal about the support for it. I believe Image, IDW, and Archie have also been announced for the comic store. I’m sure more will follow later if it proves successful. Hopefully Top Cow and DDP.
Anyway, a motion comic isn’t the same as the regular comics in the upcoming comic store. I believe there’s already one or two motion comics available under videos in the PSN store.
I’m always keeping not only an eye but both of them on my beloved Uncharted.
Damn, I read the heading and immediately thought, ooo, this is what the DLC is? It would have been great if they took the game engine and made a playable prequel to these events… I suppose that would have taken more time and effort though, but still…
Sounds fun – do we know who the live action actors are going to be for the Drakes Fortune movie?
I saw “Eye” in the title and thought they were going to do something with the PS Eye
