Just one month ago on September 15, EA released Need for Speed: Shift to much acclaim. The latest iteration of the Need for Speed franchise moves away from the arcade-styled racing toward a more realistic sim-racer, taking it even further with an ultra-realistic first-person cockpit view which truly immerses you in the racing action.

For today only, Need for Speed: Shift has had its price reduced by 25%…

As part of Amazon.com’s Deal of the Day, EA’s Need for Speed: Shift has had its price reduced to $44.98. That’s a whopping 25% savings off the manufacturer suggested retail price.

If you haven’t picked up Need for Speed: Shift, now is the time to ’speed’ on over to Amazon, and get your copy for this low price. Remember, this deal is only for today, so head on over to Amazon now.

Dang, i wish if Amazon would do a deal in the US they would carry out a similar one in the UK and vice versa.

the game was fun but once I qualified for the championship and won it there really wasn’t any appeal for me to go back and finish the other races…I want a new Need For Speed Underground. I like racing but I would prefer a game that had some story tied into the racing.
